I opted for a Salon Styler as I have quite a lot of thick hair and the wide plates cut down on my styling time which is great. My first GHD lasted a year until it had a factory fault, But luckily the lovely people at GHD collected and sent me a brand new one which I now have for almost 3 years and still going strong! After using, my hair is always soft, sleek and silky :) I do not like volume in my hair, and this is one of the only stylers that makes my hair "flat". Overall a really good value for money Styler. Once this one stops working, I will be looking to go over to a Carioliss C3 though (Just for a change)... but so far GHD has really served me well and always turned out amazing fail proof hair :)
