NYX Palette - ONE NIGHT IN MOROCCO

I love this little make up kit. it fits just about anywhere! i got mine free from Clicks when I purchased other NYX products. The eyeshadow base in this product is amazing. It has a creamy texture which blends in perfectly. While the eye shadow colours are perfect to create dramatic eyes

This palette is quite small, so it's very easy to carry in your handbag or travel with. It's about the size of a blackberry phone.his palette is called "Matte Smokey Look" so I was a bit surprised to find shimmery colours in there as well. I said surprised, not disappointed. ;) Some have noticeable shimmer in them and the black shadow has a tiny bit of shimmer as far as I can tell. With regards to pigmentation they are great, but some colours are obviously better then others. The shadows have a lovely texture and they apply quite smoothly and they definitely stay put for the whole day.

This palette doesn't come with brushes, but that doesn't bother me as most people use their own anyway. I LOVE the eyeshadow base - it's very creamy, smooth and easy to apply. The quality of the packaging isn't fantastic as the bottom draw (with all the lip colours) keeps popping open. So perhaps mine is a faulty one. The four lip colours in the bottom tray are very light and not extremely pigmented. To me they don't add anything to the kit. They're quite creamy and glossy, but not too sticky. But you need a couple of layers of this in order to see any real colour show up and as you might guess, the staying power is also not amazing.

I got this for free when I bought some other NYX products so I cannot comment on the price.

The lipsticks are a bit light for my skintone but I do like them.

The eyeshadow tends to spill a bit and you have to becareful to not let it spill onto your cheeks!

I prefer matte eyeshadows during the day - and this palette creates a stunning natural or smokey eye. Very convenient as it contains all the eyeshadow colours I need to create these looks.
