I was looking for a face mask sachet that could hydrate my skin, but couldn't find one in Clicks, so decided to try this one as it has lots of very moisturizing ingredients. Like I mentioned in my blog the packaging of these masks really freak me out, very weird looking packets. If you had to judge a book by it's cover then you would probably never try them. I also discovered once I got home that this was meant for ethnic skins. It didn't mention anything on the packet, but I read on their website before I used it.
Ok, so I got into the bath and applied this mask while I soaked. It has a gorgeous, very strong scent of rose geranium. So if you are put off by product smells, then this might not be the one for you. The clay/mud is a light toffee colour and has a nice thick consistency. The sachet has quite a lot in it and could probably be used for two applications, which in my opinion is still quite pricey, if you compare it to the massive Freeman tube for R60.

As I was busy applying this mask it started burning in certain areas. Not melting face burning, but very uncomfortable. I almost immediately washed it off, but decided to stick it out as it was already on my face and if it was going to cause any harm it probably already had. Haha. *silly*.
After a few minutes the stinging/burning went away and I was left with an almost warm sensation. This mask applied very easily and smoothly, but it took ages to dry. It felt like 30 minutes before it was hard enough to wash off. It came off fairly easily with a bit of elbow grease.
While I was washing it off I was a bit panicked as to what my face would look like underneath, but to my surprise my skin looked incredible. I mean airbrushed, no visible pores incredible. My skin was super soft and felt seriously hydrated. The burning was totally worth it. I don't know if other people experience the burning (haven't read anything) or if I have some reaction to an ingredient, but either way my skin didn't look irritated and it wasn't tight or dry. The next day my skin wasn't still flawless, but there was no reaction and my skin is still feeling moisturized.

I don't know if I would use it again, as I think R24 an application is a bit expensive. If they make or sell a tube then most definitely!
