Mac fix +

Since becoming an avid YouTube watcher, I quickly learnt that not owning Fix+ was a cardinal sin. It's uses range from refreshing your skin in the morning or before bed, adding moisture to your skin before applying foundation, use it to sheer out foundation, change the texture of certain shadows and foiled pigments and to of course, setting your artwork once done. I have repurchased a few times and I will not ever go without again.

Man, I really wanted to love this product. It smells so good and comes highly recommended by every 2nd Youtuber on the planet.

So, I purchased this against a colleagues advice. She has dry skin and said that this makes her super oily.

I have tried both priming with it and finishing with it, but within 4 hours I looked hella oily.

It also releases just the perfect amount of mist. I did finish my bottle by using it as a toner in my evening skincare routine.

I am sure it is much better suited for dry skin. I will still recommend it, as it is very hydrating and it does provide a smooth canvas for makeup.

However, I will not be repurchasing this. I do want to try the Mineralized Charged Water and would really appreciate your thoughts on it.

I got this a while back, and it has lasted ages, mainly because I don't use it. I dropped it 3 times - lol, for some reason it kept tipping over whenever I reached for something! The lid broke and I lost a lot of product.

I use it sometimes - when I want to refresh my makeup and cool down in humid weather, but it's not something I would repurchase.

I find I can live without it. It actually annoys me, it keeps falling over! Lol:D


Oh, and has anyone had issues with MAC staff being super unfriendly and oh so arrogant. Maybe specific to the Edgar's I visit, but I have noticed that people selling makeup at high end counters really have an air about themselves...

MAC products are so good and this spray is no different. You put it on after your make up and it gives your face a gorgeous glow.It also helps make up stay for hours!Looks great in pictures too. Love this product.

This stuff rocks! It lasts for ages, I use it every day and it last about 4/5 months! It keeps your make up fresh and prevents that clogged make up look, definitely a winner even for oily skin!

With this product my make up always stay fresh and with the heat it helps me stay cool as well. The fragrance is fantastic

I adore this product! It allows my skin to drink in the moisture before applying my foundation. After using this product my skin feels hydrated as well as allows a better canvas for foundation , i also spray after applying makeup. I do not go anywhere without this product and i honestly believe it works.

I have read review after review of this. I just kept thinking my skin is way to oily to use a setting spray. I was wrong. The first time someone used it on me was on my wedding day. I didn't think much of it at the time, forgive me it was my wedding day and had other things on my mind. Then again I watched a video on you tube - love makeup guru's on you tube - once again fix + was mentioned and the specific you tuber is a Mac artist. She recommended that even oily skin can use fix + - I was sold! Use tried and tested. it works wonders even on my oily skin. After using powder my makeup can look a bit dry, but not with fix +. Love it. Worth the hipe!

I don't really find the point of this ladies you guys might as well just carry a bottle of water in in spritzer bottle and use that instead

I'm usually a little nervous to try Mac products. While I've never had a problem with their lipsticks, lipglosses, blushers and eyeshadows, I've had a few reactions to their foundations and tinted moisturisers.

I definitely find that my skin glows once I've used this, and it feels very refreshing, but I don't find that it makes my makeup last any longer than it usually does.

I am not completely convinced that this makes my make-up last longer, but it does give my make-up a beautiful finish. I use a lot of powder as my skin can get very oily during the day, thus I sometimes end up with a 'over powdered' look when my make-up is done, especially in winter when I do have some drier patches. This spray immediately combats that and leaves me looking radiant!

Fix+ spray is GREAT and really affective. Keep it in the fridge during the summer months to use as a refreshing spritz or spray it on before, during and after makeup in order to hydrate skin and lock on makeup. Cucumber extract found within is refreshing and cooling on the skin and Fix+ can be used to soothe sunburn.

Mmm... i don't know why my ratings for the review I wrote before so low. Maybe I forgot to click on the stars or something. Love this product, would recommend anyone to get it. I used it all the time especially when I go out for the evening and want my makeup to stay put, works like a bomb everytime :)

Overall, this is a great product to have as it really does finish up your makeup very nicely. It costs R150 which is not much if you consider the fact that one bottle will last you a very long time. This product was out of stock for like 3 months internationally a few months ago... I waited so long to get hold of this, and finally its mine :)
