I actually enjoyed this product. Although it contains fragrance - it did not irritate my skin. I also found it to be okay for use around the eyes.
Unfortunately, I did not notice any fading of marks / any significant changes in my skin tone / texture. It does clean very well and removes all traces of make-up.
If you are looking for something to reduce pigmentation and improve tone - I would suggest turning to products with AHA's and PHA's as well as Retinol / Retin A.
However, if you are looking for a good cleanser that will get the job done - this one is worth it.
