As with all body butters, this has all the great ingredients that makes it such a delight to use, because it does exactly what it claims to. The butter is very thick, 9 hours after application I could still feel it on my skin. It doesn't absorb as easily as what one would think but it really penetrates the skin well and leaves it feeling well moisturised and soft. It is not something you would apply before getting dressed in the morning. I apply it at night, let it do it's work then in the morning it is all absorbed. The scent is very pleasant although not exactly a blueberry smell but more of a blueberry milkshake scent. The fragrance is not overpowering and does settle to a subtle soft scent after a an hour or so.

Another thing I find with this is not really suited for daily use, especially not in summer. It does feel like it traps heat and causes me to overheat and if I apply it in the middle of summer I sweat like mad. It affects the way your body naturally regulates its heat so to avoid the over heating and sweating, I apply this twice a week - one day I moisturise my legs and arms and the other day my torso. The Body shop lotions are good for in between light moisturising.

I had not seen this before and when I spoke to the shop assistant she told me that this was a once off limited edition body butter. However, I saw online that overseas this is released every winter so I am not sure how our stores will translate that. This has become one of my favourite scented body butters and I really will miss it if it doesn't return to our stores. I still quietly mourn the loss of the Wild Cherry body scrub.

At R120 for 200ml this is a bit pricey but then again you are paying for the quality of the product. The body butters last well because a little goes a long way. I would actually suggest buying this at a Clicks that stocks it, rather than directly from TBS stores because at least you earn clicks points. The LYB loyalty card is good but it does not match the points you would earn from Clicks.
