My favourite aspect of fragrance is its ability to evoke powerful memories, and that's the special allure that Lacoste Touch of Pink holds for me.
Four years ago, I was living and working in Amsterdam, thousands of kilometers away from home and very homesick. A friend of mine gave me a hamper of this wonderful fragrance for my birthday including a mini fragrance, shower gel and body lotion.
Besides the fact that pink will always be my favourite colour, this irresistible scent became my happy smell. Whenever I would wear it, my mood would lift instantly and turn otherwise grey and gloomy Dutch days into sunshine-y, happy adventures.
I don't wear this scent anymore but just the slightest whiff of Touch of Pink will take me back to those trying yet empowering days.
