Lancôme La Vie Est Belle

I often get stopped at the fragrance corners of retail stores - to try out a new fragrance or a fragrance on promotion. I don't always remember those times except for the first time I was asked to try out Lancome La Vie Est Belle. It was a few years back yet I still remember exactly where I was at the time - Woolworths store in Gateway.

The smell was amazing! I made sure to get the full name of the fragrance. I didn't purchase right away because I was not sure how long-lasting it was. Well, I was pleasantly surprised since the fragrance lasted many hours.

I have never used another perfume since. I still get compliments about how lovely I smell :D.

I must admit that I have never experienced Lancome fragrance before and received a sample as 'a gift with purchase offer'. When I was at the airport and a gorgeous man stopped me in my tracks to ask what perfume I was wearing, I knew that La Vie Est Belle was my signature scent. I rushed off to get myself a bottle and the rest is beautiful history. The bottle is stunning but the perfume is even more alluring with its beautiful top notes. To me it captures how a woman ought to smell and the scent is like no other! Life is truly beautiful with this beautiful perfume!

"Life is beautiful" which is what La Vie Est Belle means in English and this fragrance truly captures femininity and happiness in a beautiful bottle! This fragrance is an "iris gourmand" featuring top notes of iris, middle notes of patchouli and base notes of sweet gourmand. I love how this fragrance changes as I wear it. I have received at least a dozen compliments since I started wearing it.
What I love about this fragrance is its longevity. It lasts ALL day! Its also a timeless fragrance that can be worn by all ages and for every occasion. The bottle is simply stunning with a beautiful little stopper simply decorated with a little bow. Thank you so much for gifting me with this gorgeous scent Beauty Bulletin! I feel so spoilt to be able to wear this perfume that makes me feel beautiful, feminine and happy. Lancôme products are always amazing and this perfume doesn't disappoint at all!

The concept of this fragrance is centered on the idea of natural and simple beauty, freedom from conventions and the choice of once own vision of happiness. Its fresh, clean and incredibly feminine. It's a sweet, fruity fragrance with with hints of vanilla.
