The L.A. Girl Treatments Calcium Nail Builder is a treatment coat to strengthen, thicken and improve the appearance of nails. It is reasonably priced and it is easy to apply. It dries quickly after application. I use it as a basecoat and it works perfectly. I have not tried using it as a top coat. As a basecoat, it quickly dries and it hardens my nails making them less prone to chipping. It is scented but the smell is not overpowering to me.
