The first impression I got of the Kings and Queens Lemon Flower Shower Gel was the cheap looking plastic bottle, especially considering that it retails for R69.99 and the brand has the whole ‘royalty’ theme to it.
However, my disappointment was short-lived when I opened the bottle. The gorgeous lemon scent was unbelievable. It’s as if they squeezed in an actual lemon tree and all its lemons into the bottle! It did not smell like dish washing liquid as I expected it might.
It has a lovely consistency that easily flows out of the bottle. When you begin washing yourself, the lather is rich and the whole bathroom is filled up by the delicious lemon scent.
My skin felt fantastic after the wash and smelt even more amazing. The scent did not last long however, especially after I’d put on my regular lotion. So, I’m guessing to fully get the Lemon Flower experience from Kings and Queens, you would need to also get the Lemon Flower Body Butter.
