Keeping Up With The Kardashians: Get Ms K’s Signature Makeup Look

Love her or hate her, there’s no denying Kim Kardashian’s makeup look is on all our wishlists this year.
Flawless skin, glossy lips, luscious lashes, sculpted cheeks and dark eyes are all it takes to create this glam look – perfect for a night out!

Simply follow the step by step guide below.

1. Skin
Start off with a moisturised and primed face to create a smooth and even base for your makeup. The next step is to conceal any imperfections or dark circles. MAC Studio Finish Concealer is ideal for concealing dark circles, gently pat under eyes with your ring finger or apply with a concealer brush.

A medium to high coverage foundation applied with a foundation brush works best for this look as foundation brushes create a perfectly-finished product by allowing the makeup to cover the face evenly. Ensure the foundation is completely blended and set with loose powder, applying light strokes starting at the forehead, moving over the nose, cheeks and finally to the chin.

2. Cheeks
For just-pinched, rosy cheeks apply a pink or peachy shade to the apples of your cheeks, blending towards the ears. Try MAC Gingerly or Pink Swoon or Avon True Colour blush in Soft Plum.

For a more a sun-kissed glow, apply bronzer to the apples of your cheeks and forgo the blush. Make sure to choose a bronzer that works for your skin tone.

3. Eyes
Dark brows, thick, long lashes and a dark smokey eye are essential for creating Kim’s signature look.

Define brows with an eyebrow pencil using light strokes and blend gently with a clean eyeshadow brush or applicator for a more natural look.

To create a dark, smokey eye, apply an eyeshadow base to your lids. Choose two eyeshadows to create your smokey eyes–a medium shade for your lid and a darker shade for the crease of your eye. Apply the medium shade as a wash on your lid and use the darker shade to contour your eyes. Once the eyeshadow is finished, line the tops of your eyes with a black liquid eyeliner. Lift lids and smudge a pencil liner into the upper lash line to create the illusion of thicker lashes.

Line the bottom lid with a black pencil eyeliner and smudge with a smudge brush or cotton bud and reapply another coat of eyeliner. Curl lashes twice and follow up with several coats of volumising mascara.

4. Lips
Finish off with a nude, glossy lip. Line your lips with a flesh colored lip liner. Lightly apply your lipstick and follow it up with a coat of lip gloss. Recommended nude shades are Maybelline Autumn Rush and MAC Lustre Lipstick in Hug Me or Clinique Chubby Stick Colour in Nude Ice.
