I haven't tried a lip stain balm like this before - simply because the hubby doesn't like lipstick or gloss, and I don't often find a colour that suits me. However, over my birthday haul, I noticed that Revlon has a special at Edgars and Clicks: 2-for-1 (R110). And being one who has to take advantage of every special - jumped to the opportunity. To be honest, when this product first launched - it caught my attention. Something about the "Just Bitten" lip stain stuck with me, I found it sexy and thought of nibbled lips that are plumper and just a little extra colour and man, was the picture in my mind on par. I absolutely love the red stain, merely because I can't pull off the red lip look, but when it is just a stain... it looks great! I love a smokey eyed look, and just a little colour to the lips are great. I wear this everyday, I have a red and nude. It isn't very long lasting, and isn't as moist as lipstick (I like that, though) It certainly isn't a gloss either. But it is great, it adds just enough colour with it's lip liner qualities (giving you the option to have defined lips, to an extent) and still adding a little moisture. Stunning!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 005 Crush glides on the lips and it gives my lips an intense deep berry colour, with a hint of gloss. The colour is bold and daring. The balm feels light and moisturising on the lips. It has a minty scent and gives my lips a slight tingling sensation on application. It stains the lips with a deep berry colour and it is long-wearing.

I am a huge fan of these. They are amazing, and gorgeous. Revlon now has numerous ranges for this, and these things have revolutionised my lip colour routine. I am not a fan of lipsticks that run or are very drying, and lipgloss is so sticky. I usually really love lip balm, but every now and then you would like a dash of colour, and that is where these have come in and won me over. I can have colour and moisture and a variety of colours with great staying power. Yep, these are excellent little things!

I adore these Balm Stain crayons.. Revlon has such a wonderful range of them too now - the regular, the matte and the laquer ones! I have a regular one (in a darkish pink) and a matte one in a bright corally pink (personally my favourite!)
They are lovely and moisturising (although the matte ones can be a little drying, so I always put a lip balm on first) and the colour lasts so well!

What a marvelous product. I was keen to try out the orange lip craze a while back but wasnt ready to jump all in with a bold lipstick. A friend bought me this balm stain and immediately I was head over heals for it. A lovely soft hue in orange makes any outfit just pop. Its not extremely long wearing but the balm is soft and light allowing for repeated applications throughout the day. An absolute win!

This item is one of the main reasons I don't carry lipstick and lipgloss in my handbag anymore-its just not necessary. The colors are really ideal for various skin tones (they do however appear to show up as different colors on skin tones that differ). I bought the orange/tangerine looking color on a whim and I was scared when I got home thinking I had wasted my money, was I wrong!!! The color is such a statement when worn with nude/natural eyes, a hint of blush and black eyeliner. I also bought these in promo pack of two from Foschini.

i totally LOVE this product, my favorite is no. 040 Rendezvous (Orangie colour). What i love about this product is that it is easy to apply with no need to blot, it stays on after eating and drinking. The pink shades are also divine, i constantly carry at least one of these crayons in my handbag at all times. I purchased these as pack of two from Clicks a while back. Ladies if you have not tried these, you should :)

I fell in love with these crayons from the first time I saw them.The colours are so vivid and pretty.

I love this just bitten. I don't really use the balm it comes with because the balm makes my stain look a bit weird. Instead I use a lipstick over the balm, which enhances my lipstick colour, and makes my colour last longer and look fresher. But to be honest, I really cannot live without this product. It's just too amazing now :)

Well I got my one for R40 at the Clicks sale this week and as wonderful as it works, I would not have paid the normal price , knowing that at sale time it was a possibility to get it marked down. I got the Frenzy colour which is a dark pink and so cute! it really made my lips look great. The balm is also nice, and I will use it sparingly ( as I do with all revlon products) the stain lasted quite a while and I love the felt tip applicator :) go check out your sale baskets at clicks if you want another but dont want to pay the full price!!

I have wanted to buy this for a while now & eventually forked out the R100 and bought an orangy coloured stain which I was assured by the Revlon assistant would be a corally colour on my lips. Well I took it home to try it out. First of all, the colour turned out to be a brilliant, vibrant orange, nearly red. Not the colour I was looking for as I usually wear quite nude lip colour hence the coral I was looking for. Secondly, the lip balm on the other end broke of on the first use. :( The balm is not retractable, did they not think that it would break off???? It did wear for a long time though, so I was walking around with really bright lips for a while.

I bought this lip stain as I am a lipgloss addict, and sometimes it gets tiring reapplying colour to my lips constantly. I found the stain quite strange to apply, however. It felt like colouring in my lips with a normal highlighter (the stationary kind). The pen felt dried out after one or two days, even though I barely used it. The lip moisturiser on the other side was basically Vaseline, so I preferred to use my own lipgloss over it.
