I found that although this gel felt like it was going to be great, it burnt my face quite badly. It made it tingle and eventually it was burning so badly that I had to take it off before the recommended time was up. It left my skin red and patchy. The redness disappeared and my skin felt a lot softer but I don't think it was worth the burning feeling. I tried the gel 3 or 4 times afterwards at different times of the day but it burnt my skin each time. I think this is one of those products that either agrees with your skin or doesn't!
