Johnson's African Nurture Body Washes

I bought this a while ago and only started using it recently. I like it, I like it a lot!
It has such a lovely smell, that isn't overpowering. It would be a good buy for those that prefer a scent to not linger on the skin.
Apart from the smell, it lathers well and has left my skin feeling smooth and soft. Will definitely be trying the other variants.

These were on special at Pick n Pay for something like R12 for a 400ml, the price alone was enough to grab my attention. J&J offers an interesting combination of variants, so I had my fare share of smelling each one to see which 1 I liked best. Unfortunately for me, I found the fragrance of each 1 I smelt to be over powering and highly unappealing to me. I therefore did not buy any. I'm happy I read the reviews below as I know feel like perhaps I passed on a good and cost effective body wash. perhaps I will purchase 1 and give it a thorough testing and see if the fragrance perhaps mellow down one mixed with water and lathered over the body.

i enjoyed using this Johnson's Marula & Kigelia body wash. it smelt fantastic and made me feel clean after use. i coupled it together with the Marula & Kigelia body lotion after and i fell even more in love with it!

So after reading so many good things about this body wash from Arthz I decided to try it out, I purchased the Rooibos & Cape Chamomile because I can't resist the chamomile scent which is so dreamy. So here's the even better news, in DisChem Ballito, I got this 400ml body wash for R15, yes lol read it again, I got it for R15. I was literally 10 times more happy because I love to purchase all these pretty smelling body washes. So I guess Arthz explained everything about the product very well because everything she said about the product is true, I would agree the scent doesn't linger on skin which is probably why you'd have to use the lotion with the body wash. I loved the fact that the body wash was really foamy though. My next try is definitely the Shea butter and honey!

So I was out of shower gel's and I was shopping around looking at all the available options to try. I was looking at the section where they have different brands of gels and comparing prices according to quantity. I came across this huge 400ml bottle of Johnson's African Nurture body washes and I kinda got a bit dumbstruck at the price.

A 200ml bottle of shower gel was approximately R32 and this huge 400ml bottle was R25. Something had to be wrong and I checked the price again. I decided to put it in my basket knowing when I get to the till the correct price would reflect. Yet again R25 so you can imagine the smile on my face.

I couldn't wait to try it so I jumped in the shower when I got home. I bought the Rooibos & Cape Chamomile variation. The gel was a light pink in colour and when the scent of it mixes with the steam from your shower, it almost enhances the scent and you can get the scent of the Rooibos mixed with Cape Chamomile. I was a bit hesitant when choosing the variation because when you see Chamomile you immediately think about the Chamomile lotion which doesnt smell too grand. But this was different. It was amazing!

I cannot wait to try all the different variants. There are quite a few:

Sad that the frangrance doesnt linger that long on your skin, but all in all, it is a great buy for the price you are paying!
