The name Jimmy Choo will always make me think of Carrie’s excessive shoe wardrobe in Sex & The City, but ten years later they’re more than just a shoe brand. After their debut fragrance became a global success, Jimmy Choo have been adding to their collection – this time with an extension of the ‘Flash’ fragrance simply called ‘London Club’.

The Jimmy Choo Flash Girl is taking on the Clubs around the world, starting of course with London.

Jimmy Choo introduces a new limited edition fragrance, FLASH London Club, capturing the unparalleled glamour and excitement of London’s hedonistic nightlife.

Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo Creative Director, once again chose to work with perfume pioneer, Christine Nagel to put a new spin on the original FLASH and create the latest addition to the Jimmy Choo perfume family, “Christine Nagel is a modern artist in fragrance. Her olfactory vernacular is the definition of cool, but her sensibility is always ultra-feminine and luxurious.”

“I wanted to make Flash London Club glitter faceted like a disco ball with luminous notes of lychee sparkles of citrus fruit and shimmers of fresh flowers,” explains Christine Nagel.

Flash London Club is an ultra-modern, floral fruity musky perfume based around a bouquet of white flowers punctuated with sparkling top notes of litchi and bergamot.

The fragrance builds like music at a party: as the glittering, fresh top notes evaporate, the true heart of the perfume beats; a magnum opus of tuberose that is unashamedly sexy and alluring. To make the olfactory experience complete, Nagel expertly crafted a base of powdery soft white woods and musk that delicately unfold to create sonic waves of sensuality. “As a brand, Jimmy Choo is so resolutely feminine that the perfume had to have a sensual background. I used white woods, a contemporary note that gives a feminine, sophisticated touch but maintains luminosity,” she explains.

The fragrance has similar notes to the original flash just a bit muskier but you can still smell they are still family. Like with all jimmy choo scents the scent is unique and difficult to describe it is definitely a fruity but something else too like a Fruity, Powdery, Sensual and Warm kind of scent. The fragrance is simply stunning. It also lasts ages. Spray this in the morning and it will last all day long. It lingers.

The violet colored crystal-like faceted glass bottle echoes the fragrance and takes inspiration from the fluorescent glow of the lights of a London nightclub. The packaging commands attention with lines that play with the light.
The bottle is absolutely breath taking with the diamond shaped cap. Beautiful to look at on the dressing table. The box looks equally beautiful with the white with real silver glitter coating and violet accents. The bottle is stunning – a gorgeous, quirky and fun design inspired by disco balls and decor in London Clubs – it oozes glamour and gorgeous-ness. The beautiful royal purple
colour, the delicate detailing on the sides of the cube and the ‘dipped in glitter’ effect. Dip something in glitter and I’m sold.
“We see fragrance as another accessory, we want women to feel as excited as they do when they buy a pair of shoes or a handbag,” explains Choi.

FLASH London Club is homage to the London party girl and perfectly offsets the vibrant vibe of the city.

It will be stores from 15 August 2014 in all retailers
