Makeup How To: Using An Eye-Lash Curler!

Article by: Donna hay at www.makeupbulletin.com

Ladies this is not as hard as it looks!
•    Difficulty – Easy
•    Time required – 3 minutes max
•    Effective? – YES!
•    Cost – Prices range from +-R40 to +- R 300

Step by step. Here goes!

1.    Make sure your lashes are clean and dry. No leftover mascara on please!

2.    Open eye lash curler, and while looking downwards, with your eyes still open, gently slip the curler over your top lashes getting as close to the root/base of the lash as you can. Close curler and hold for 10- 30 seconds.

3.    Repeat on other eye.

4.    If you notice that you have left out a couple of lashes the first time around- don’t be shy to curl them again.

5.    Mascara your lashes.

P.S. Remember to replace the plastic pads on your metal curler regularly. Every few months should do the trick – depending on how often you use them of course. The pads act like a cushion, and soften the ‘bend’ that the eye-lash curler makes on your lashes. We don’t want to broken lashes!

P.S.S. To make very stubborn lashes curl better, heat the pads of the curler with a hairdryer on medium heat before you use them. The will increase curling power.
