How to remove sparkle nail polish without destroying your nails

My favourite colour is glitter and when it comes to nail polish only the sparkly stuff will do too! But the one hitch with wearing glitter nail polish- how to remove it without destroying your nails in the process.

Here are a few methods that will remove sparkly nail polish with more ease:

The soaking method
With glitter nail polish, you need an acetone nail polish remover. A normal remover does not suffice. Try the Cutex Nourishing Nail Polish Remover for best results. In order to loosen the up the sparkle flecks, first soak cotton balls in acetone remover and press them over your nails. Then wrap the tips of your fingers with aluminium foil. Leave on for approximately 2 minutes, then remove. You can apply some cuticle oil to your nails after, since the nail polish remover may have a drying effect. We recommend the Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil to soothe and moisturize even the driest cuticles.

Peel it off:
This is a clever little pre-polish technique that will have you peeling off your glitter nail polish like a sticker. Find an empty nail polish bottle and fill it up half way with regular school glue. Add a little water and shake well. Paint your nails with this mixture. This will form your base coat. Once this has dried completely, choose your choice of sparkle you’d like to paint on your nails. The trick to removing the glitter polish once you are ready, is to simply nudge the edge and it will peel off with ease. Use acetone to remove any left over glitter residue.
