I love my GHD! (had it for 5 years now) its the one and only straightener that works, so although its rather pricey it is worth it considering its' effectiveness and quality (it lasts for years). The only problem I have had with it is that it is quite damaging to hair my hair if used often, I have cut down to using it weekends only as I was just getting too much heat damage and split ends. Im not sure if the GHD heat protection products would help with this, I havnt tried them cause they are a bit expensive, I just use Tresemme Heat Defence. But overall this in my opinion is by far the best hair straighter I have ever used.

I just cant imagine going out anywhere to a party or function without my GHD. It my Ultimate Styling Tool. from the time i bought my RARE GHD it goes everywhere with me if i m travelling or going to my mums place .my hair is not the same until it has been kissed by GHD ;-). I love It. and I wud like to tell Everyone out there all the ladies who wud like to style their hair in the most fab fashion ways to buy this Straightner coz non is close to it and the result it gives everytime u use it are flawless and so remarkable that u wont look at anyother styling tool after this. I love my Ghd its my Life.

i do not own a ghd hair iron and the one and only reason would be is that it is a bit pricey for a student like myself to purchase, however i feel that whenever i have used a ghd(which is only at a salon) my hair always felt fantastic!! for me this is one product i have really gotta save up for-there is no other product out there that can match up to the high standards and excellent quality a ghd can offer. i have used a straightening iron before only to be delayed by 2 hours, the results were pathetic and it never lasted me the night as my hair would go back to being frizzy (talk about poor quality and non-effectiveness)!! i have extremely thick, wavy hair and using a ghd saves me time and effort, giving me the results i soo desperately need-which is silky smooth, straightened hair or better yet... sexy curls!! you see.. this is why i love a ghd.. the possibilities are endless and the results are always guaranteed!!! thank God for Good Hair Days :)

I love love love my GHD. I will never use another straightener again. I had a cheap straightener which used to take me 1hr to straighten my hair, but with a ghd it takes 10 min and keeps its silky smoothness throughout the day. You can straighten and curl your hair. Works like magic. The price might seem bait steep it really is an investment. I have had mine for 5 years and its still going strong.

I do not own a GHD however, whenever I go over to my cousins house im in her room using her GHD. All i have to say is using it for almost 5 years now has been AMAZING!!

There's nothing like a GHD taming my long hair whenever i need to do it quick and fast. With one stroke my hair is straight.

I've had my ghd for about 6 years now, it's insignia has rubbed off, the covers for the hinges have broken off but it works today as well as it worked 6 years ago when I took it out its beautiful black and gold box. I straighten my hair, curl my hair - effortlessly! I do friends' and family's hair - long, short, thick, thin, straight or curly - and every time I use it people ask my favourite question "Did you just get your hair done? It looks amazing!"
