I have dry skin that isn't normally prone to being sensitive, but I found that this cream made my skin burn as well as making it feel very tight, and really felt the opposite of it being moisturizing. I was very disappointed because I had heard very good things about it and it is a wonderfully affordable range.

Very affordable moisturiser that helped even out my skin.
I wouldn't say it faded any spots or scars but definitely brightened my face .
Better used on days where skin is feeling dried as this is slightly oily.

As I have dry/combination skin I was super eager to try this moisturizer. While it is effective in mattifying, it did leave me looking slightly grey. This is probably due to the fact that most oil controlling lotions contain titanium dioxide (white pigment) and zinc oxide (white powder) and the Garnier Even and Matte Ideal Complexion Daily Cream for Normal to Dry Skin had quite a bit of it. I would have found this formulation better suited for the Garnier Even and Matte Ideal Complexion Daily Cream for Very Oily Skin. However, if you are a makeup wearing gal like myself, the white residue won't bother you that much.
