Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj

I have the Nicki Minaj Pink Friday EDT 30ml. Firstly, this perfume bottle is one of my favourite perfume bottle designs, Its just so gorgeous. I recently finished my fragrance and can't through this bottle away, so I'm using it as deco for my desk at home. I usually don't like sweet scents but this fragrance is has just the right level of sweetness, is not over powering and lasts the whole day. I got so many compliments while wearing this fragrance. Its like having a little bit of Nicki to get you ready for a Friday night out! Thanks Nicki:-)

lasts long grate smell but price is bit too much

When this fragrance first made its way to our shelves I was not very drawn to the bottle, it did kind of freak me out but one day I was looking for a gift and knew the recipient wanted a celebrity fragrance so i thought what the heck let me test it and see what it smells like.
I was so impressed, the smell is amazing and it actually lingers unlike a lot of fragrances where the smell disappears the moment you leave the house. It's such a fresh, yet subtle smell that really makes you feel great.
So, needless to say I had to purchase one for myself and now the bottle does not seem so freaky anymore

Everything about this perfume, including the box... Is related to Nicki Minaj. The box is a beautiful pink and purple gradient box which has Nicki Minaj's silhouette in a gold embossed print on the box. The border of the box is a gold chain, which reminds me of Nicki Minaj's gold bling which is always around her neck. The box's colours (pink and purple) are completely Nicki Minaj's colours which she's always wearing, while the gold resembles all the bling.

The perfume bottle is a bust of the pop star herself. It freaks me out a bit as well, but the fragrance is absolutely devine. The bottle cap is Nicki Minaj's face which is in shimmering gold, while the hair on the bust is of course...Pink with the signature fringe. The remainder of the bottle has the body of the pop star, which is clear and then has a boob tube top in a different frosted glass. What makes the bottle of this fragrance unique is that it has a name chain in gold which is attached to the bottle, the name says "Nicki Minaj" which is similar to the one she wears.

I was absolutely lucky enough to receive this perfume from my boyfriend as a present, of course my boyfriend knows how to spoil me. I'm not really a Nicki Minaj fan, but the scent is so amazingly dreamy and fruity, I couldn't say no! I received the 50ml bottle, which is a little different from the original bottle I spoke about on the top, however it's mainly the fragrance which I love and not the bottle. The fragrance is perfect for summer because its more of a summer or spring fragrance.

The fragrance which is in collaboration with the Elizabeth Arden company has a lovely refreshing scent, the scent is an intoxicating floral, it's a musky one which is mixed with fruity notes, pink flower petals, creamy vanilla, musk and wood. The fragrance opens with notes such as star fruit, Italian mandarin, and a blackberry and raspberry hybrid called boysenberry. In the heart of the fragrance are lotus and starry jasmine petals while the base notes have caramelized pear, vanilla, musk and woody notes.

I would really recommend you get this fragrance! It's a lovely scent which you can get addicted too... The fragrance comes in a 50ml bottle which retails at R395 while the bigger bottle is a 75ml bottle which retails at R495. Whether you're a Nicki Minaj fan or not, you must try this perfume. It's fun, fruity and pink... what more could a girl ask for? Plus the scent isn't overwhelming but lingers on skin all day long.

At first glance the nicki minaj perfume looks like some kind of freaky toy which def gets you talking although im not sure if thats a good or a bad thing but any press is still press right

The scent is like a floral fruity combination with must and woody jasmine undertones. Strong at first but fades very quickly to almost nothing.

As the singer & her music Nicki brings out a fragrance that is so her in many ways.
Her bottle is a eye catcher, looking like some egyptian princess with pink hair..Rap away Princess Nicki..
The Scent leaves you floating in a floral fantasy world,Fruity,floral,musk lotus and starry jasmine petals with woody notes..
Her fragrance lasts and smells oh so good.You wont regret buying this lovely perfume...

Pink Friday, the first fragrance launched by Nicki Minaj, shows off the distinct personality and style of Nicki Minaj herself. From the name, to the outrageous bottle design, to the vibrant colors, Pink Friday is a celebration of Nicki Minaj’s life.

The scent is very fruity and floral, but with a musky undertone. The fruity notes are noticed first as the fragrance opens up with juicy notes of star fruit, Italian mandarin, and a blackberry and raspberry hybrid called boysenberry. It then makes a floral transition consisting of notes of Lotus and starry jasmine petals at the heart. Base notes of caramelized pear, vanilla, musk and woody notes complete this playful composition.

Although I found that this fragrance was pleasant smelling, it was the actual bottle that freaked me out. The bottle appearance is something like the bust of Nicki Minaj herself, consisting of the torso and the head with the famous pink wig. It is a total replica of Nick Minaj. This is good in her favour, but I thought it was the scariest thing on the planet. It really puts this delicious-smelling fragrance down.

I would recommend Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj to anyone that loves a sweet, versatile smell and of course all Nicki Minaj fans!
