Flawlessly Radiant

I have been using the Pond’s Flawless Range for over 4 months. I decided to blog about this product as I am more than just pleased with it for many reasons. Firstly, I used to spend more than double the amount of money that I paid for this range, so I believe that it’s good value for money. My skin usually gets very oily, especially on more humid days. When I use the cleanser, I instantly feel the cleanliness in my skin, which no other cleanser comes close to, that I have tried and I have tried a few. I love the texture of the cleanser, which lasts so long. Unlike most cleansers, you don’t need to use lots, a tiny amount, less than the size of your baby finger nail, is more than enough to create a generous lather. Naturally, if you would like to get the most out of your products, you will love this as it lasts very long, saving you money.

My skin is rather sensitive and I’ve tried many toners before, I even skipped toning as the toners I had tried previously, created a “burn” sensation, even if it was for sensitive skin. The Ponds Flawless Toner however, is gentle on my skin. It makes me want to follow my cleansing routine as it doesn’t aggravate my skin.

The Flawless Radiance Visible Even Tone Day Cream is also gentle on my skin. It doesn’t have a fragrance which is too strong, it’s not too dry nor too oily, it settles well and quickly. I don’t have perfect skin unfortunately as I have some blemishes on my skin and I wish that I could find stock of the Serum in this range, as I believe it works very well in reducing such. However, I can’t comment on that as I have yet to try it.

I love the night cream as it doesn’t feel oily. It is a little more greasy compared to the Day cream but it feels like the right kind of greasiness to nourish the skin whilst you sleep. It does not look oily and it doesn’t leave you with an unappealing feeling when you go to bed. I have not done any research into the development of these products but I can safely say that I believe that the Pond’s range is suited for South African skin and for our climate. I have often wasted so much of money trying out international brands but I am happy with Ponds and won’t change. I also love the packaging of the Flawless range, the colours, the boxes and the containers/tubes, I don’t know about you, but I have a weakness for things that are packaged well. If it doesn’t look pretty to me, I am not inclined to use it. Just as effective as they are good, to me, they should also look good and I’m pleased to display The Flawless range in my bathroom cabinet or on my dressing table. It’s nice when you have products that look so good that you don’t need to “hide” them away ;-)
