Five Secrets to Flawless Skin

 For many of us, perfect, flawless skin is the holy grail of beauty. 

 We’ve compiled a list of five ways you can work toward getting a pristine visage.

Secret 1: Drink Water

It’s boring, we know, but hydrating your body with H2O is the best way to ensure your skin is plump and perfect. Drink at least a litre a day to ensure skin stays smooth and hydrated.

Secret 2: Remove Your Make-Up Before Bed

Given the vast amount of make-up removers and wipes available on the market today, there really is no excuse for not removing your make-up before going to sleep. Failure to do so will cause blocked pores, pimples and even wrinkles!

Secret 3: Wear an SPF

If you’re not already a SPF addict, then what on earth are you waiting for? It’s never too late to begin wearing a suitable SPF on a daily basis. Apply an SPF of at least 30, over your daily moisturiser and under your make-up to keep your skin protected and wrinkle-free!

Secret 4: Don’t Pop Your Pimples

As tempting as it is try not to get your hands on your zits. Popping them will only cause inflammation, scarring and, dare we say it, more acne! Instead apply a zit-zapping treatment onto the problem area and wait for the pimple problem to subside.

Secret 5: Keep Calm

Sure, it’s easier said than done, but keeping your stress hormones down can reduce oil production in the skin. Partake in activities like yoga or anything that keeps you zen.
