Hi ladies, Welcome to this months Face it Friday which again is all about our face. Last month we covered the Foundation for our Face and this month is all about our cheeky cheeks. I have some bargains for you, swatches and a dupe, so exciting for all you sassy savers out there.
Again I am starting off with BOURJOIS, this is fast becoming my favourite brand – not only because I dream of visiting France but all their products smell so nice and work really well plus I think they are not too pricey (bonus!)
#1 Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer – +- R150
This was my very first Bronzer, I have always been a little scared of bronzers to be honest, I didn’t want to look as orange as someone from Jersey Shore and I had never attempted a “contour” look but I saw so many youtubbers raving about it so I thought I would give it a try and I have not looked back ever since, this product is not very pigmented which is great because it is buildable. Will definitely re purchase – plus it smells like chocolate. YUM!! Now I’m ready to find the next top 10 bronzers. I Cannot live without them!
#2 Essence “Blondes” Bronzer – +- R40
Sticking with the bronzers I became brave over the last month and tried a new bronzer, I was so excited to try this one – I must say I usually stay far away from powders of any type that are mosaic or have different colours, I usually like to see the full colour up front. Anyway I decided to try this out it is a lot more pigmented than the one above so a little goes a long way – I chose the “Blondes” shade as my skin is light but they do have a few other shades.
#3 Woolies Blush, Cheeky Cherry – +- R70
I was lucky to get this a few months ago from Beauty Bulletin and I have not stopped loving this! It doubles up as a lippy which is so great, throw it in your make up bag and you are set for lips and cheeks. This shade is so cute it gives a little rosey cheeked look and lasts all day.
#4 Essence Blush, 10 Adorable – +- R30
I wanted to try out a new blush and whenever I am in the market for new make up products that I don’t need but want that feeling of something new I always head straight onto the Essence Stand at Clicks because it is affordable and in my budget! I loved the name of this shade “Essence Silky Touch Blush Adorable” and that really is a great way to describe this shade it is so subtle and soft looking.
#5 A DUPE! – MAC soft & gentle and Essence 3D 08 Vanilla
If you ladies have read a lot of my other articles you would have seen that I have spoken A LOT about MAC’s Soft & Gentle and how much I wanted to it but it just has not been in my budget at all I was out to find a Dupe and I came across the New Essence 3D Eyeshadow which I was so impressed with as it give such a nice highlight. My mom then gifted me with the MAC Soft & Gentle (YAY!) I still continue to use the Essence Eyeshadow on an everyday basis and keep the MAC for full on Make-Up days. Have a look at the swatches below and you will see there is hardly a difference – so cool for all you sassy savers
