Essence Match 2 Cover Cream Concealer

this is a great budget buy concealer , it has two shades so you can blend and cover most areas on face. its very creamy and thick so you dont need to over do it with application, this is great for under foundation use to even out the skin tone nicely and hide spots and freckles

This concealer is definitely understated. The lightest shade looks great under the eyes for highlighting and doesn't crease on me like the famous LA Girl Pro concealer. I honestly prefer this and it gives great coverage. I would say the coverage is about Medium, but very buildable without looking cakey. It works wonders on spots, it does not settle into ridges and lines. Absolutely a must!

ive been using this concealer to do some contouring under my eyes and cheeks as well as using it for an eye shadow base when mine ran out.. works well :)

Although this product was a great colour match for my skin tone (quite pale), the consistency let me down. It's quite sticky which makes blending it out really hard without all of the coverage disappearing. Overall, this was probably my least favourite drugstore concealer - the LA Girl concealers (available from Dischem) are much better quality.

While I usually adore Essence products, I just didn't find this Concealer set enough for me. It didn't seem to blend well and just stayed in a layer on top of my skin, which the slightest bump or touch would remove. The colour was spot on though, which is something I battle to find.

The thing that I love most about this product is the fact that you get two different shades in this kit. This is nice for when you want to apply a lighter/darker colour to some areas and you can also blend the two colours.

I have tried the stay natural concealer from essence (the one in a tube that you turn to get out) and found that this cream concealer works much better and the product itself lasts quite long (as where the stay natural concealer didn't even last me two weeks).

I have been looking far and wide for a good concealer to cover up my blemishes - silly me! Should have looked right under my nose to my favourite brand! This duo concealer is great for covering up dark patches and blemishes, it is long lasting and does it's job really well - best part is the affordability, just like all Essence products!
