I love Essence. So I bought this top coat to try - didn't really give that "gel" look and makes tiny bubbles when applied - doesn't matter which nail polish I tried coating, or how thick or thin. Not 100% happy.

I'm on my 4th bottle of this top coat and I've never had the tiny bubbles appear with it. Have you let it get very hot? Often if you have any kind of oil, whether it's hand cream, cuticle oil or cuticle remover, or even just your own natural body oils, it can cause polish to bubble slightly.. Perhaps you may have gotten a dud bottle, but I've tried so many different top coats and base coats and polishes and this is my absolute go to.. Perhaps try swiping some acetone over your nails before applying it?
