This shampoo is safe for use by humans. When I used it I saw a noticeable difference in my hair strength. It drastically reduced my breakage BUT it made my hair feel as dry as straw. I already have dry hair and this worsened it, I had to use a lot of conditioner and deep treatments to make it feel soft.
