Elizabeth Arden New York in Bloom Nail Lacquer Duos come in Teal with a clear top coat as well as Purple with a top coat is the answer to the perfect at home manicure. The duo nail lacquer allows you to wear the colour which can then be sealed by the top coat to give a super glossy finish.
This is part of the Limited Edition New York in Bloom Collection from Elizabeth Arden and the cool teal and purple are representative of nature and how beautiful it can be.

I have this at home but have not yet tried it - really keen to try it after seeing this review though! :)

purple orchid really got me star strucked!!
I've opened my mail from BB and the first thing that caught my eye was the extremely cute design on this package! It was green n silver and ofcourse purple that really got me hooked! At that time I had noo idea what it was until my mum actually took it out of the packaging and showed it to me.. It was a nail lacquer in purple!! Its a duo so it was the purple ( which is named purple orchid ) and the other side was a clear top coat.. I really love how the colour is! One apply of coat is enough , but it does take quite some time to dry compare to other nail lacquers - but that's okay!:) .. Overall I would recommend purchasing this - it will be worth every penny trust me! :)

The beautiful packaging that is always a part of Elizabeth Arden products is very lovely to look at with its playful flowers and colours.
I used the Nail Lacquer Duo called Purple Orchid. It’s a beautiful pastel looking purple that is perfect for a neat and subtle colour. It has normal consistency and the brush is just like any other nail polish applicator. It’s easy to apply and dries within 30 seconds. Quick drying nail lacquer is always a triple plus for me.
I had to apply two coats to get the coverage I wanted, but you can apply a single coat is you want a lighter colour. I then applied the clear top coat and this gave the colour a super glossy finish. This also dried quickly…within a minute or so.
The chipping did start a couple of days later though - But this maybe because I did the dishes with no gloves on.
This is a lovely nail lacquer in terms of colour and the overall New York in bloom theme, but in terms of long lasting chip resistance, it does not last more than two days in my experience.
