Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Effects Lipstick

I love this lipstick for a few reasons. Firstly the colour is beautiful - it's the perfect combination between a rich red and a deep plum, it's the type of shade that will suit many skin tones and colours. Secondly it's of an excellent quality and is soft and long lasting and moisturising at the same time, ensuring lips don't go dry and flakey. Thirdly it can be worn in many ways, for a stained look a small amount can be applied and rubbed in - ones lips look stained and deep for a more everyday look. For a richer look it can be applied thickly with or without a lip liner to create a dramatic effect for smart occasions. I also love that at the end of the night the outside of your lips have a slight red tinge and you can add a little bit of lip gloss to this if you don't feel like reapplying the lipstick. The packaging is also very chic and it's of course a highly reputable brand!
