I love Clarins Make-up and for years exclusively used their products. This was one of my top three colour palletes from them! I have been on the hunt for this for ages and I have never been able to find the same one again! As with all their products presentation is chic and classy with the compact having a shiny outside that could actually double as a mirror. It comes in a nifty little material pouch, being a perfectionist I use this to clean the compact so it is always shiny.
The colors apply smoothly and last all day without fading. The left hand side color the brown I used to fill in my brows when I am travelling and can not take my entire kit with. I have to be honest and say I am on the last dredges of this little pallet and if I found it again I would snatch it up without thinking!

i love everything Clarins. these eye shadows comes in an oval shaped holder with a mirror look top lid. the inside is gorgeous with 4 colours a mirror and an applicator. they come along with a pouch that you can store them in or carry around in your bag. mine has fallen before and the shadow didnt break neither did the holder - unlike many other shadow brands out there.

i use this palette a lot. its very natural and light despite the darkest looking very dark.
there is a almost golden pale shade i love to use as a highlighter on the brows. the pink shade is also nice but i use it more on the inside corner of my eye. the "mauve" looking shade is great for an all over shade and its not that dark when used. i then use the darkest shade as a liner. works great wet and dry.

this is a great combo for a smokey eye on girls nights out. the colours are intense and 3 of them are metallic. i personally dont like the look of the mother of pearl colour on my eyes when i do a smokey eye (reminds me to much of jerseylisious ha ha ). so i go back to my previous palette for the more light golden shade. i dont use the silver shade at all but love the dark purple and the black. the black looks like its got sparkle in it and works great as a liner. a little goes a long way as they are highly pigmented so you only use very little. the purple is a beautiful shade and compliments my blue eyes nicely. my go to palette for nights out or if i just want a bit of darkness ... i will use the purple (wet) as a liner on the top lid sometimes with the above mentioned palette

as you will see... this one is my favourite. i love playing with bronze and browns on my eyes as they make my blue stand out. its a lovely palette for summer when im tanned as it just works so nicely with a bronzed / tanned face. i use the copper / dark gold colour on the lid and then use a normal highlighter above. i then use the dark as a liner top and bottom. i think browns and coppers work great on blue eyes and this is also a great palette for tired days. i would use the copper on the inside corners of my eyes to brighten them.

all the colours apply very easy, holds nicely throughout the day. i do find that if i dont use a primer or concealer of my lids and only uses the shadow as a liner, it creates another line on the lid of my eye (close to the crease). but its not a big deal at all. they also remove easily with water or with Clarins make-up remover.

i dont ever use the applicators that comes with the shadows but if you dont have brushes or didnt pack them, these do work nicely. the pointy part of the applicator is not plastic with sponge like other shadow applicators. its like a smokey eye smudging brush and its easy to create a line with. the otherside is soft and applies the shadow easily.

they are a bit of a splurge item :-) so i would say start with one ,.. you will be hooked and then build up a collection.
