In summer, as we all choose to either wear lighter fragrance (light floral or fruity fragrances) a citrus cologne can be refreshing. Escale á Portofino is a lovely citrus cologne, which I find perfect for summer weather. It starts off with a strong burst of citrus, yet it dies down to a lovely orange blossom scent that stays close to the skin – light and refreshing, yet soft and elegant. This is one of my absolute favourite citrus scent – and the fact that it’s a cologne is even better because it’s not strong and overpowering in the hot weather.
