Chanel Soleil Tan Sheer Illuminating Fluid

Summer is rapidly approaching…the days are getting longer and the rays of sunshine are steadily beating down on our body’s encouraging the summer fashions to come out in full force and THATS complete and utter body exposure, I’m talking bikini’s mankini’s whatever your vibe….

The point is its silly season and time to start showing some skin!!! My secret weapon to make sure the skin is looking healthy, radiant and flawless is Chanel Soleil Tan Sheer Illuminating Fluid (sun kissed). This product obviously goes hand in hand with a good skin care regime, lots of water and sleep to help the body rejuvenate!

So build up a good skin care routine… spend time cleansing, toning moisturizing, prepping and enhancing the skin. The biggest and most rewarding makeup/beauty tip I can give is too really nourish and take care of your skin, focus on it and remember it’s the only one you will ever have!!! Once your skin is healthy and glowing … anything you do after or additionally will look incredible.

Chanel Soleil Tan Sheer Illuminating Fluid is not new to the market but perhaps just over looked by me for a while and rediscovered again. It’s one of those products that I have struggled to actually put down in the last few weeks and in all honesty I actually caught myself adding some to my lips yesterday!!!

The product comes in 30ml glass tubs (see picture) and should really last you all summer…so it is well worth the investment. Retails @ R450-R500.

Ok so there are many different ways to use this product from the obvious to the more extreme and maybe not so advisable (i.e. the whole lip application …there are better suited products for that!)

1.) I use Chanel Soleil Tan Sheer Illuminating Fluid under the foundation to create a light toned highlighting liquid that adds luminosity to my overall foundation…this can be built up or toned down depending on how much you use…
2.) It can just be added to specific areas like the cheek bones, bridge of the nose, above the brow bone or on the brow bone etc
3.) A great way to use it is to add it into body cream and rub this new formula into the arms legs and stomach areas (again building this up as you go or diluting it if you are wanting a more subtle look)
4.) I have used this as a “liquid eye shadow” (i.e. applied to the eye area working into the crease and there after added 8hr cream for a dewy bronzed look)

This product does not add a harsh glittery effect like some of the highlighting illuminate products out there but rather has a soft light reflecting quality that subtly adds a little glow, and is picked up with movement!
I have used this product on Fairer European skin tones as well as darker African skin tones and although giving a completely different outcome both are just as satisfying a result! Absolutely love this product…can you tell?
