Ceramide Ultra Lipstick in Coral

This is a rich moisturising lipstick in the color Cinnamon which is a mix of pink and brown with a hint of bronze. It had a shimmer to it which I love and is fairly long lasting. My lips just plump up when I use this which is due to a formula called Volulip*. Volulip is a substance that contains a plant extract and a natural modified peptide to plump up lips. This is great for women whose lips have lost their contour and definition with age as well as for young women who have naturally fine lips who want plumper and fuller lips or for women like me who have full lips but just want more :p .

This went on sale at Rubybox and i couldn't resist! It's a moisturising deeply pigmented brick red that makes me feel wow! Not very long lasting though and leaves lips with a soft stain of colour!suitable for all colour skins for a look at me now kinda effect!

I bought this lipstick because I was wanting a new look and was getting bored of my nude lipstick/ subtle lipgloss look. I chose the Elizabeth Arden brand because it has such a good reputation. This lipstick did not disappoint :)
The texture glides on smoothly, the colour is rich and a little bit has a big impact. It lasts well during the day, but needs to be re-applied after eating or drinking. The shade is fantastic and would work well for both daytime and night time. I get compliments every time I wear it and my friends tell me it brightens up my whole face. It's quickly become my must-have item in my handbag!

I LOVE Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide range - the lipstick, just like the mascara is wonderful! The ceramide complex is great on the lips and is comfortable to wear. When applied it has an also lip balm feeling ti is and when used over time I have noticed an improvement in the texture and appearance of the skin on my lips.

I am a Lip Gloss girl so I was pleasantly surprised just how nice this lipstick felt.
At first i was a bit hesitant that my lips would feel a bit I actually forgot I was wearing lipstick as it felt so comfortable and natural.

Ceramide Triple Complex, a blend of skin-identical Ceramides 1,3 and 6 enhanced with phytosphingosine, helps strengthen and retexturise skin’s appearance and hold vital skin-plumping moisture within the skin leaving the lips fuller, contours defined and most of all making your lips look kissable all day long.

The pigment of this lipstick is really great. It is a rich and full colour that can be built up for a more intense colour. I like to dab it on my lips to give them a natural pinkish red tint (I can't pull of deep lipstick colours). The lipstick leaves your lips feeling moisturised and smooth. I like that the lipstick stays on for a long time and the colour doesn't fade and look dull after only a few minutes. The lipstick tube is beautiful! A gold casing with the Elizabeth Arden logo embossed onto each one is such an elegant and timeless design that's sure to make every application feel like a treat.

There are 15 different colours in the range so there will definitely be a colour or two (or three or four) to suit all skin tones. At R155 it is a little more than the average lipstick price, but this is not an average lipstick. As well as being a lipstick it should be seen as a lip treatment that will improve the appearance of your lips.

Well if you could judge a product by its packaging this one would get five stars as it looks positively sumptious in its gold casing! Great if you want to impress by whipping it out of your handsakkie for a quick touch up. Lovely colour, nice shape for application, but no noticeable plumping action and it is a bit drying on my lips.

This is a velvety, smooth lipstick which really does seem to make my lips look fuller and more "pouty". This is one of the shades that I prefer, because it has a blueish tone to it, so my teeth look whiter and my smile brighter when I wear it and I can use it as a stain for daywear if I am doing something special, or glam it up with more layers for nights out on the town!
