It is quite handy to wash small brushes with but it is challenging with the big brushes. I would recommend it for beginners. I prefer the bigger ones now.

I got my egg from the China Mall at a much more reasonable price and it works exactly the same. The silicon really cleans and dries quickly after use and it has all the different sizes for different brushes. Does not work great for sponges (I recommend your hands and soap and then microwaving the sponge after to kill all the germs). You can easily make a dupe for this egg though with a hot glue gun on a suitable surface. The egg has one annoyance, the sliding bit for the hands is quite small and uncomfortable, and I have small hands so I don't know how practical it is for bigger hands.

The most efficient way to clean your brushes. The larger ridges work well for cleaning larger brushes and the smaller top section works well for smaller brushes. Best used with a mild cleaning agent such as baby shampoo. Holding it is a little awkward but other than that it really does a good job of cleaning and I would recommend it to makeup enthusiasts.

This brush is good quality but honestly not so effective plus it's inconvenient to hold it throughout the whole washing process.

I absolutely love this nifty product! :) Cleaning brushes beforehand was a tedious process.
The hollow spot is super handy for holding it - The small bristles are great for cleaning the smaller brushes and the larger grooves for the larger brushes :)

I actually had this for a very long time before I actually used it and when I did I was so happy it really really works to get the dark colours especially, off my brushes :)
