Avon Eyeshadow: Teal Attitude and Ocean Waves

I received Avon products from Beauty Bulletin.com to review. Two True Colour eyeshadow duos; Teal Attitude and Ocean Waves.

The Teal Attitude duo has the teal eye shadow and a pretty shimmery light peach shade. A strange combination, I thought at first glance, but when I used it, I was very pleased with the outcome.

The Ocean Waves duo has light blue and dark blue shadows. Although the dark blue can be alarming when you first see it, the shading can be controlled nicely and you can decide how light or how dark you would like it. Pretty colours when applied darker for evening.

I’ve never bought Avon products because I’ve always wondered if they are as good as their photos in the catalogue. I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. The eyeshadow is incredibly soft, has a very fine texture, is silky to the touch and goes on smoothly.

The applicator has both a narrow and broad tip. The narrower tip applies the eye shadow precisely where you want it, on the narrower sections of the eye, such as the upper eyelid and lid along the lash line and in the corners, and very useful when applying it along the lower lid. You can control the amount of eyeshadow you want to apply.

The mirror in the compact is larger than I’ve seen in an eyeshadow compact which makes applying the makeup easy. Packaging, simple but pretty.
