Woah! These Avon masks have some pretty long names! This was another mask purchased in our household, by my mum, for my brother. He suffers with very severe and painful breakouts. He’s on medication for it but the situation has now spread to his back; my mum saw this mask and decided that he should give it a go!
The mask is from the Avon Clear Skin range which is aimed at teenagers to customers in their early to mid 20’s. The packaging is very crisp and fun! The tube is white with a clear flip-lid and has dark and light blue writing. On the upper left corner is a funky pixelated pattern of the two different shades of blue, this is very youthful and adds some fun to the product.
The mask itself is a light blue in colour and has the texture of toothpaste. It is applied as a thin layer onto the skin and washed off once dry. The formula is soft, non-gooey and glides on with ease. A thin layer is all that’s needed so the 75ml tube will last you quite a while. We purchased this when it was on special for R32.50 which is a steal!
This mask is just as fun as the mineral one, as it changes colour too! The change isn’t drastic but fun enough; once dried the mask changes from light blue to white. The formula gets deep down into the skin to help wipe out blackheads and impurities. Once applied, skin feels cool and refreshed. As the mask turns white, it stiffens so facial movement should become minimal.
My brother has used this mask about 4 times now and his skin is looking much clearer and smoother. The intensity of his bumps is not as severe and they are less painful than before. He has used this mask twice on his upper back and has experienced amazing results! His back is so much clearer now than before too. I’ve tried this mask too but had a terrible reaction to the formula and so have no pics of the blue to white transformation. (Hopefully I can get my bro to pose for a few, lol)
If you have the occasional breakout or are a sufferer of blackheads, I do suggest you give this affordable mask a try as it seemed to have helped my brother significantly. I wouldn’t advise using this if you have sensitive skin as irritation does occur.
