Aunt Jackie's Curl La La Defining Curl Custard

This has to be my favorite hair custard. It doesn't leave my hair dry and all frizzy, it leaves my hair well moisturizered and defines my curls. Ohhh and the smell is out of this world. Absolutely amazing.

It smells amazing and it also works well as a leave in conditioner. It helped give my hair a curl pattern and it lasts for a long time. It is very good for damaged dry hair as it helped my hair gain alot of moisture. I recommend people buy it, plus its affordable.

So this SMELLS LIKE BLUEBERRIES and it leaves such a lingering scent it is FANTASTIC.
As far as curls though, my hair is naturally curly and it doesn't do much to enhance the curls. I have not tried to curl my hair with heat after so maybe it works better for that.
Just don't overdo it, it can leave your hair feeling very heavy and limp and lifeless, a little goes a long way.

This was one on my first products I started to use when I went natural. I love that it leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturised not to mention the smell (I LOVE IT) . I often struggle with my hair being dry and frizzy, but when I use this product my hair looks shiny and healthy. This product does not leave build up so if you are someone who likes to refresh those curls in the morning this product is for you :)

I have highly porous, 4C type hair, which needs tons of moisture. As an experimental person, I'm yet to find a hair custard that leaves my hair as happy and as manageable as AJ's Curl La La does. My hair's left feeling incredibly soft, becomes easy to work with, and leaves neither residue nor causes build-up/ residue. Listen, even my hair dresser is sold. The smell is an added bonus. I swear by it so much that I'm due the next purchase.

Love it!!! I've been using the curl la la since transitioning and I am very happy about it. The texture of the product is so goo, smells fantastic. Holds my curl very well, my wash and go is unmatched! It does not dry my hair its definitely like custard in my hair!

The product is thick like custard ,the smell is very strong but I love the effect it have on my niece's hair. It makes my coils bit greasy but overall its worth it cause it last longer than moisturisers.

I tried the Aunt Jackie's Curl La La Defining Curl Custard when I was transitioning and after I BC'd.

It smells like sweetness. You REALLY have to keep the jar away from kids because they might just eat it. It just smells delicious..

It has a thick consistency, very spot on like a pudding.

I don't get white residue from using it.

When I was in transition, it didn't really work well to give me the curls I wanted. My hair was in two different textures.

Using it after my BC has been good so far. My curls are very tight and coilly (like a spring). I apply the Aunt Jackie's Curl La La Defining Curl Custard while my hair is damp (mostly wet) and I let it dry throughout the day as I go about my day. I make sure I work the pudding in all over my hair. When the days are warm, it dries quickly. More like a wash & go activity. Once my hair dries, it does not look weighed down by the product.

I love the spring-like curl definition that I get. it's more of a curl enhancer in this case for me since my coils already come looking like springs.

My hair stays moisturized for about 3 or so days. All I do on day 2 and 3 is sprits my hair with water and my cute culs come up popping as my hair dries. My hair remains soft to touch (a little bit sticky) and smells delicious.

I find there's hardly much need for reapplication on day 2 and 3.

Disclaimer: I have hair that would be classified as 4C by the natural hair community.

So my hair is pretty confused,
i have sighty curly/wavy hair naturally but it gets really curly when i use products or curl forming products.
i RARELY wear my hair naturally because i really have no idea how to handle it and it looks like this awkward hybrid stage between curls and sleek straight (imagine that)!

I then stole this product from my sister and tried it out and boy did i love it! It really defines the pathetic curly things on my head and makes it soft, bouncy and shiny.

I would recommend this to anyone that has poorly defined and confused hair like myself

This product has become a staple in my hair routine! It works well on my natural type 4 hair. I use it for my twist outs and it gives me unbelievable curl definition. I did a twist out without this product before and it came out frizzy and definition-less. If you're looking for maximum definition and hydration, this product is the answer! It also smells great and gives great slip when being applied to dry hair.
The only downfall about this product would be that it takes time to dry on twisted hair, therefore you would need to be sure that your hair is dry being unraveling your twists and braids. It also works wonders for wash and go's as it provides the curl definition that all wash n go's need to have and that is defined, rocking curls!

I definitely recommend that people give this product and try, as first I thought it wouldn't work on my Type 4 hair but after the second time i tried it, I really saw the benefits it provided for my hair.
