Please don't fall for this nonsense - There is not a whitening tooth paste in the world that actually makes your teeth whiter. If you want your teeth whiter - then you need to use a product that you can only buy from a professional. ALL the other over the counter products are a WAIST of money... especially whitening tooth paste. If you brush your teeth (with a correct brushing technique! ask your dentist/hygienist - more than 80% of people brush incorrectly) twice a day - (or after every meal) and floss at least once a day, your teeth and gums will be healthy and sparkly naturally. Visit the dentist once every 6 months for a check up and hygienist every 3 - 6months for a scale and polish depending on your individual case. Avoid drinking and eating food excessively that stains - for example curries and red wine. simple test: If it stains your tongue... then it stains your teeth or if it stains porcelain - like tea and coffee... then most definitively if will stain your teeth. rather drink hot drinks diluted with milk. And ask your dentist about home whitening kits or in-chair whitening that will really work if you actually want your teeth whiter.

Toothpaste prevents tartar and plaque build-up and freshens the breath by removing odor-causing bacteria but there is no evidence of any significant colour change in teeth.

Hydrogen peroxide is used to whiten teeth and in very low-dosage (over the counter products) this has not visible results - especially after just brushing your teeth for 1 - 5 min... and then spitting it out.

I will say one good thing of 'whitening tooth paste' it has is very grainy texture - abrasive ... and gives your teeth a nice good polish if use for brushing. But not worth paying that much for it.
