African Extracts Rooibos Advantage Intensive Day Cream

I received this to review in conjunction with three other products in the African Extracts Rooibos Advantage range.This day cream with SPF 15 is very hydrating and I was pleasantly surprised that it alleviated my dry skin without being heavy or greasy.As I dont generally like sunscreens,I was a little reluctant when using this,as they generally irritate my skin and eyes.However,this one did not.It is packaged in a smart looking 50 ml glass jar with a gold lid and looks really classy and expensive.It is loaded with plant extracts that have an antioxidant effect and an anti aging complex called Pronalen EAP which fights damaging free radicals and tightens, firms and decongests the skin.Infact it is a power house of plant extracts with the very important ingredient commom to all these products,bio active rooibos.My only dislike is the slightly heavy fragrance but I am used to using fragrance free products normally.It does go away after a while and is a sort of herbal scent.
I am not sure if artificial fragrance is added or not but assume it all good and natural.Another great factor is that the jar is stamped with a best before date so you know if the product is fresh and with all those yummy ingredients,it's really important.The product is also approved by beauty without cruelty which makes it a winner for me and proudly South African.
