I was named after this specific perfume... Chanel No 5... it's such a wonderfull long lasting fragrance! BUT price... sad that it's soooooo expensive & it's hard to find a stockist...

This is a lovely soft, pretty version of the classic no 5 that you can wear to work if you're a no5 fan and dont want to smell too overpowering. It works well with any outfit, whether you're in pretty summer dress, an lbd or jeans and t-shirt.

They say a change is as good as a holiday, i just think you should move on when it comes to Chanel, maybe i am wrong but they all smell the same to me, there's really no improvement on Chanel sorry just my opinion.

Chanel No.5 is definitely an iconic fragrance... that I would never wear. I always lurk around the Chanel counter and try it on, thinking "maybe this time I will change my mind and like it". But it never happened. So when I saw the lighter version I gave it a try. It is still a very dry and powdery scent, but I learned to love it. It was not love at first sight, it is more like a friendship that needs a bit of attention and maybe some effort to get going, but it will last for a very long time.
A
