Michel Mercier Detangling Brush

I bought this for my daughter. She has incredibly knotty and super long hair. At 6yrs old, it's NO fun brushing out her hair when she's crying due to the pulling and brushing. I hoped this brush would bring some relief, but definitely did not and after one or two uses we didn't use it again.

Perhaps for thinner and shorter hair it would be more effective. I decided to try it as it was much cheaper than the tangle teezer, but in the end got the tangle teezer anyways.

I bought the brush for fine hair and it's really worth every good thing and rave review you will read about it! My hairs long, thick, colour treated , highlighted, fine and prone to tangling! I have to detangle prewash and post wash sometimes with the assistance of de tangling sprays and cream! This is v gentle and will enable you to brush through your entire hair without risk of breakage and damage like hairbrushes can sometimes do! I brush my hair backwards! Mid length to ends first and then root to tip! I take this brush into my shower too to comb through my conditioner and mask! A really great buy

Nobody likes tangles in their hair, especially when you have fine hair which is prone to tangles. My hair always has tangles in it, I needed a quick solution which was going to make everything easier and hassle free in the morning rush. Which is why this sleek brush caught my eye. I have owned one of these brushes before, however it wasn't actually for my hair texture, so it was completely useless to me, recently while shopping at Dis-Chem I came across the brush in a hot pink and black colour, I grabbed the last brush off the shelf.

The brush normally retails for R159, however the price has been reduced to R98,95. When I got home I begun to detangle! There is a slight pull here and there if the tangle is bad, other than that, it's pain free, but if you have hair loss, I would warn you... Your hair does end up on the brush! So it doesn't actually stop the hair from being pulled out, sadly.

This brush as 428 unique bristles which are all different heights to help detangle hair more efficiently. Plus this brush has a nice sturdy handle which is joined to the entire plastic brush, so no more breaking handles from the brush!
The only warning I could give you is that this brush shouldn't be used under heat, because when I checked the Michel Mercier Facebook Page, a lady had stated that her bristles melted because of the heat from her hair dryer!

I would really recommend you give this brush a try, especially if you have hair which tangles easily, plus you'll get so used to the brush, you won't want to try any other brush again, plus the brushes are super cute and colour coordinated for hair types.

I love this brush. It's amazing for fine hair which gets tangled all the time. I purchased it from DisChem for about R160. The bristles are fine and delicate for hair. It detangles and smooths hair leaving it silky and manageable. It can be used on wet and dry hair, and I use it while blow drying my hair, it helps a lot as its less painful and less hair breakage.

With thick, long and wavy hair tangles are a daily struggle but with this brush every morning has become a lot easier. This brush makes brushing through tangles much easier and with a lot less tugging and breakage. I purchased it for R149 from takealot.com. The brush has 3 variants for different hair textures, Fine, normal and thick. I have the blue brush which is for thick hair. I recommend this for anyone who struggles with tangled hair.
