5 Beauty Resolutions for 2013

Resolutions are there to keep us on the right track throughout the year, so why not focus on beauty resolutions. We might not follow them religiously but it’s good to make a list and look at it once a month. Making good habits can be a permanent change in lifestyle. Here are a few things I’d like to remind future me:

#1 – Try not to sleep with makeup on, not matter how tired you are!

#2 – Wash your makeup brushes twice a month to get rid of dirt and oil that constantly get transferred onto your face. Or just buy a sanitizing spray.

#3 – Make appointments at your hairdresser every three months. Schedule all four appointments at the beginning of the year and set a reminder on your phone so you don’t forget. Seriously…EVERY THREE MONTHS!!

#4 – Sleeping on your stomach or side is a big no no! Make a conscious effort to fall asleep on your back so that you won’t have tons of fine lines around your eyes and cheeks. (Also, invest in silk pillow covers)

#5 – Diarise beauty sales. Save up as much money as possible and take full advantage. Or make a deal with myself to only buy cosmetics if they’re on sale.
