I was looking this weekend for a good oil for my hair and I came across this. Less than R50 to I decided to give it a try. I massaged it into my hair Saturday morning and then only washed it out on Sunday evening. It has left my hair feeling silky smooth, healthier and my hair has an amazing shine at the moment. I have tried a lot of oils and must admit that this is one of the better ones I have used and well within buget limits with the price. Try it ladies
This oil smells so amazing, It makes me feel super excited everytime I apply it to my hair. I've noticed that my frizz had been weighed down which is something I'm happy about, plus I'm also happy that my hair was looking really silky and soft. Plus I think the bottle is so cute :)
I have fine curly hair (LOTS of it!) that I have not always been too kind to: highlights, washing & styling every day, and using supermarket products. I have finally found the perfect styling products: lekker cheap leave-in conditioner and styling mousse, but there are always some locks that still need some defining... I’ve tried gel, wax, silicone, the works. My hair either looks dirty or the curls become hard and stiff. I did a post on Argan Oil last month and my skin loves it! It’s just too expensive to use for my hair on a daily basis.Then I saw VO5’s Miracle Concentrate… with Argan Oil! And it’s only 46 bucks at Clicks!
It’s an intensive leave-in treatment. They say you can apply it to your wet hair, but that didn’t work for me. I use a few drops on my dry, styled hair to smooth the ends and any frizzy bits. And it does a good job.Now I don’t have a clue what all the ingredients are (except for the Argan Oil), but I do know it contains a form of silicone. Now my hairdresser told me to steer away from silicone-based products… something about cuticles and build-up, ag I dunno. But if I hear of anything that may work for these locks, I’m going to try it. Im a morrocan freak so i always buy anything morrocan. This was my first product i used with morrocan oil in it and i was gaga for this product i totally love it. My hair drys quicker with this its got and awsome smell and it workd like a bomb will always be my favourite product.
A great leave in treatment for all hair types. It does not make hair oily but keeps it conditioned even after you wash it off. Even though it is expensive, a little goes a long way and it really only needs to be used on dry ends.
I have purchased a bottle of this about a year ago and used the last bit last wk. It makes my hair look and feel great and what's so nice about it, it doesn't leave your hair oily. I totally recommend this product.
it has a soft warm fragrance and comes in a 50ml bottle with a dropper. I find the dropper quite effective as you can choose the amount according to your needs. I apply it to my hair after washing, focusing mostly on the ends, then blow dry. the results are amazing. my hair is left smelling sweet, with a glossy, not oily, shine and is very soft to touch.
I love this product,the packaging and how it smells.It makes my hair soft,i am also guilty of using it on my 3yr old son,it makes his curls super soft,and he also cant get enough of the smell,always telling people how yummy his hair is,lol.
Magic in a bottle, I love this. The bottle is cute and great to keep with you. It is easy to apply to the hair. I apply some on my towel dried hair form mid length to the tips and some again before I straighten my hair. It made my hair feel so soft and gave a great shine. Also great to use to shine your curls.
This mirical elixir is just that, an abslute Mirical!!!! i have really thick, curly hair that is a nightmare to tame. so after blowdrying and straightening every day of the week, it is really dry and brittle by the end of the week. vO5 mIracle Elixir had my hair touchably soft and shiny after using it for just over a week. i love love love this product, it is totally amazing. certinally has my recomendation.
It's really cheap and widely available and I've had mine for abt two yearS! The difference in this oil is that it's applied to wet hair and for me with the advent of all the dry oils and new hair products that have come out that require do much less fuss I'd rather not be bothered! It does work though but seems not to rinse clean! I'm just using this to finish really and probably wont repurchase again
Oh my gosh ladies! I found this amazing product that left my hair feeling wonderfully smooth and nourished! I so loved it! The most amazing non-salon bought product for my hair to date!
I used a few drops and smoothed it into my hair from root to tip after washing. I was a little worried that it may leave it looking oily, but the hair absorbed it wonderfully and left my hair feel smoother and sleeker without having to apply to much heat when styling.
I love this product! It smells yummy and it makes my hair so soft. It's awesome to use when your hair is getting dried in the sun. I think it's a bit expensive. It's something I can live without. I love the packaging as well, it's cute.
This product was OK for me but didn't do any miracles. I prefer a more richer product for my dry hair. It did however help to de-tangle my hair which was great. It is also very well priced, compared to many other hair oils.It's scent is also really lovely and comforting.
I love this lightweight oil, not only does it have a lovely scent, but it doesn't make my fine hair look oily once I have applied it, like other oils. I normally smooth it on my dry hair for a great non greasy finish especially now that I have longer hair. I also like applying it to my hands when working it into my hair when I braid my hair or make a bun. It adds moisture and shine without weighing it down. I'm a product junkie, so I'm always looking to try new products so I hardly stick to using the same products over and over unless it really works for me and this is one of the product I buy again and again!
I LOVE THIS STUFFFFFFF!!!! I am such a product junkie and lemme tell you having "mixed" hair comes a whole lot of mixed problems. Compared to most things that I've used...This has impressed me a lot. It is really inexpensive and gets the jobs done. My hair looks so healthy when I apply on wet hair and allow to dry.
I saw this new range by V05 in a magazine about 2 months or so ago and rushed to Clicks to try it out.
The first thing that I like was the fragrance. Its really lovely and it lingers on after you've dried your hair.
As for the oil itself, I wasn't overly impressed. I have dry and naturally curly hair so using a serum/oil before drying is essential to keep flyaways and frizz at bay. It did leave my hair soft but that could also be the Dove hair conditioner treatment. My hair didnt look any different that usual, I guess I was expecting a miracle as the name of the product indicates. No miracles here I'm afraid!
My hair feels silky soft when I apply the serum, but there after it just goes back to the way it was before. The packaging is really nice and the smell is not over powering which I liked but I will not be buying this again. Although, I see it lasting a very, VERY long time because a few drops is all you can use unless you're going for an oily mess of hair.
I've been using this oil for a few months now (i'm still on the same bottle, so it does last a really long time). I apply it to my damp hair after washing it in the hopes of smoothing my dried ends. It does help in some degree, but i won't go as far as calling it the bees knees. I'm sure my 'miracle' oil is out there, it's just not this one. Such a shame really, because any beauty product that has pink packaging immediately grips my attention. The price is really good, if i remember correctly it retails for around R45, and considering the months i've been using it, you get your money's worth.
I was sent the original Moroccan oil which lasted for a couple of months. I then came across this VO5 oil with Argan Oil in it which is the main ingredient in Moroccan oil I was so excited to try it what I really liked was the bottle it has a bright pink lid with a dropper I thought this was so unique and nifty.
The oil itself was not too thick but I found that it worked well as a treatment rather than to smooth fly-aways.
I tried this product because of the new craze in oil elixirs and because of the price,, wanted to see what its about . They say that you can use it before blowdrying your hair as it will protect from heat. I don't think this true as I found my hair burnt and got really damaged after about a month of using this product. I wouldn't recommend it . Rather pay more for ones that does what is claims.
