Thanks to this product I will no longer be doing that. This Butter is amazing. Generous amounts are used and left in your sectioned hair for about 20 minutes, and washed off before you shampoo. During that time you’ll see how defined your natural curl pattern becomes and how much easier to manipulate your hair becomes ( I mean you’re seeing results before you’ve even washed it off). I loved the experience, of working with my hair without any difficulties, not to mention how soft and fluffy your hair feels without compromising your gorgeous curls. Quality - the consistency of the product and the slip is 100s for any mask type product that needs to coat ALL your hair and stay on for a period of time. Effectiveness: I am a type 2b/3a with medium length hair, my sister is a type 1/2a with long hair and my mom is a 3c/4 with medium length hair. I like that it’s a pre-wash routine, which means that your hair is left manageable for the rest of your wash. On my first application I struggled to comb the product through dry hair and suffered from A LOT of breakage, I then experimented with dampening my hair after I had left the product on for three minutes and then combing through and this worked A LOT better for me.
