It definitely hides imperfections and minimizes pores, as well as making makeup last longer. However I seemed to be allergic to something in the primer. My skin is very reactive though, and after 2 attempts at using it (even trying different moisturiser/foundation in case this was the cause) I realised my skin wasn't super happy with it.
