I remember in high school missing out on all the swimming fun because of my very heavy flow. I was scared off trying tampons by a PE teacher. In retrospect, she was trying to help but was so over enthusiastic, I got scared. Also, who isn't shy to admit they have a flow that would rival Niagara at that time of month? But when I finally got up the courage, (waaaay after school) to try it out - it definitely changed my life! The price is awesome, and the quality even better. My flow is still evilly strong, but my Tampax copes with it easily - thank goodness. No more worrying about leaks , and embarassing spots on clothing. No more "have to tie a jacket around your waist to sneak home and hope no-one has seen you days." And yes, all that summer fun is now mine to own!! What I love best is the size - discreet enough to fit in my smallest bag. Thanks Tampax!!

Now I am an age old sceptic when it comes to tampons and feminine care products. I often wonder won't it get lost somewhere inside, how will I know when its time to change over to clean and fresh tampon and what are the risks?
Well tampax has made all this very easy for me, no mess and no fuss plus an extensive variety of products to choose from.
Here is my story of how tampax changed my life and perception on tampons:
I always insisted on using normal sanitary towels, but, if not worn properly or on heavy flow days can mess up your clothing big time. No way I was having this problem ever again.
My girlfriend/best friend actually introduced me to tampax (she must have seen that I was battling somehow) and explianed very briefly just how it can make my life easier.
First things first was to find the right quality product that was right for me, she recommended starting off with regular radiant which offers Tampax’s best-ever* leak protection plus a one-of-a-kind resealable wrapper for discrete disposal. This could work very well to start off with and offer great protection for heavy flow days.
I tried it and I loved it and even went back for another pack. Application and Insertion was a breeze; just find a comfortable position in which to sit ( i prefer to sit when inserting) and change after 8 hours of use.
Tampax is the greatest feminine and sanitary product since........, well since forever.
I do not believe that there is any other product on the market that caters to my unique 'monthly cycle' needs like tampax because now I am free to wear what I want when I want. I do however just carry one or two extra tampons in my bag (which is soo small and easy to carry).
Tampax offers a no mess and no fuss solution.
Goodbye sanitary towels that just leave a huge mess behind and the drag of having to change it when you feel uncomfortable. Welcome Tampax, your answer to a hassle- free, easy menstrual period!

im a dancer,and find that tampax compak is quick and easy for change and really effective. its certainly out of mind and out of sight. i did have a problem with the previous applicators and now i find that the tampax compak is so much easier and smoother to operate.

My hair-raising Tampon tale:
On a cold Winters night in the vibey suburb of Capetown, an immaculate stepford type wife named Anisa was hosting an adults only dinner to celebrate her husbands 40th birthday. The menu was just as extraordinary as the perfectly laden table. Her beautiful couture inspired dress was sublime. Every single part of the evening was perfect and the guest list was quite impressive. Anisa remembered telling her maid to ensure that her Siberian huskies were locked in the garage area for the night. But what happened next would continue to haunt her till this day. As the talk amongst the snooty guests reached a momentum, the perfectly attired hostess was gobsmacked to notice that her wild husky named Wolfy had escaped and was running a mock in the dining area. Anisa tried to chase the naughty husky and when she eventually cornered him in her bathroom, what he did next was totally unexpected. Wolfy reached for the bin and grabbed a blood soaked tampon! With the bloody tampon dangling from his mouth, he ran into the dining room again to the horror of some of the guests. Anisa’s husband tried to grab the tampon from this crazy dog but to no avail. It was like a wrestling match with the dog as the victor. After a 10 minute struggle, the crazy husky swallowed Anisa’s tampon whole. Yes, the entire blood soaked tampon gobbled up as if it was a piece of steak. Lets just say that there was silence on this fateful night in June. The step-ford wife decided to serve her steaks well done instead of rare.
Thats when my love for Tampax Compak started. I squashed all my fears that I had of wearing a tampon and went ahead and tried this holy grail product and the rest they say is Tampax history. Gone are the days of wearing uncomfortable pads which move around and feel so grotesque. Gone are the days of stained underwear and feeling even more depressed about your period. Tampax is the best thing ever created and sometimes you feel as if you are wearing nothing! Wow! thats an awesome feeling coupled with the fact that Tampax can fit into your skinny jeans pocket. ooh la la! So yes, my tampon journey started a little late in life BUT if it had not been for my naughty husky Mishcha I would be still living in the dark ages of wearing those horrific pads!So Tampex Compak gets my 5 star vote when it comes to price,quality and the comfort!

So this is really a touchy subject and kinda embarrassing to talk about but all of us ladies suffer from the same thing so let me share my experiencing regarding my monthly friend Miss Period!
I have always had a really tough time with Miss period bad aches and pains everywhere it got to the point where I could hardly work and I was puking also not to mention major flow issues.
I used normal pads for quite sometime but it wasn't good, I have very sensitive skin especially down there and pads where irritating my skin, rashes , redness , open areas you name it I had it!! Little did I know that all I had to do was use tampons and all of this pain and overflow would stop.
I tried every brand of tampons on the market but nothing really gave me the security of not not having to check every hour and I always felt so scared that tampon would just fall right out of me.
I started using Tampex a few months ago, what I really like is the fact that it comes with an applicator so that I don't get my hands dirty and that can be kinda gross.. There are a few sizes to choose from so that's perfect for those ladies who has a heavy flow or a light flow.
I haven't used any other tampons brand again because Tampex takes care of all of my needs and it doesn't irritate my skin.

Well let’s talk about the dreadful time of the year where pains and discomfort are present and you dare not wear your little white dress!
For me my period days are never a good time of the month. Firstly I don’t like them because I have the full symptoms of PMS, that is PLEASE MAKE IT STOP! I get moody, bloated, ultrasensitive, have headaches and nausea and feel like I am carrying a 4 months pregnancy! Second, every month I am hoping that this will be the day that I will miss the red visit for 9 months and get a positive test! My period is a reminder that something is not going well, and somehow, somewhere fertility is having troubles.
Thirdly is that I can’t just call in sick, as that would show a pattern, even if all I would like to do is to is stuff my face with chocolate.
So in the most painful time of the month, I would like the support of a tampon brand I can trust. There is nothing worse than to go through all this and realize that my clothes were stained ( not a good look at all ). And because of that TAMPAX is my best friend!

But wearing a tampon made my life so much easier. I can still go to the gym, which was impossible with the uncomfortable and unhygienic pads!

I have been a loyal Tampax user ever since I stopped using sanitary towels many years ago, and to be honest I have never looked back! Granted I was not a fan of those awkward cardboard applicators; however I found that they did the trick and I could pretty much get on with any activity during 'that time of the month'. Tampax Compak has trumped the original Tampax with applicators and I find the plastic applicators to be so much more comfortable and easy to use! No more hiding tampons in your sleeve or lugging them around your hand bag to the bathroom to change your tampon. Tampax Compak are the perfect size to pop into your pocket or a cute cosmetics bag. I am a very happy Tampax customer!

I haven't used Tampax in years because I prefer the non applicator brands. When I first started out at the age of 12 Tampax was my first tampon, I use to use sanitary towels at first but had a major accident in class, luckily one of my school friends saw and ran to me with a jersey to tie around my waist & cover the big round red spot which soaked through my school dress, how embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!!!! then we had to find the guidance teacher who made me stand on a chair in the teachers restrooms while the teacher & my friend tried to get the mark out, even more embarrassing :( I was just hoping nobody else saw it and from that day on I decided Goodbye sanitary towels, Hello Tampax. I had learned about Tampax in guidance class and was given free samples. At first it was difficult to insert and I just hoped it wouldn't disappear or get lost inside of me, but over time it became easier and I was loyal to Tampax ever since then. After about 5 years I decided I'm a PRO now so I don't need the applicator brand anymore & switched to Lil lets non applicator, I used Lil Lets for a few years and then had problems with the string breaking off, sometimes even before I could remove it. Since this incident I have moved over to Kotex non applicator and am very happy with this brand.

Tampax ought to be declared every girl 's travelling companion. The Tampax team "believes in a world where women can live without limits," as stated by product line's Facebook page.
I decided to follow my dreams and never ever let anything red alert out sudden "breaks" in my performance speed. This journey is one that cannot be lost or sacrificed to the periods gods ever! Why then be limited?
I dread pads as they make me feel like I am carrying a bag of unworthy dirty and yes it is unworthy!
So long, I never had any monthly visit due to carrying my precious cargo for 9 months. The bundle finally arrived and excited as I was - then the visitation was on the cards. I was so weary from wearing pads yet afraid to tamper with my aching physical being. The day I decided to stop complaining about the bags I was carrying, I was so long in the queue taking precious baby for vaccination and felt that enough is enough. I loved me enough to walk into a retailer and brave it by purchasing me a cute box full of mighty weapons.
I am ever pleased and almost walked with a proud twist around my waist as I sway from side to side. Applying my journey "friend" was a smooth slide without that burning sensation that used to leave my abdomen feeling like I have just put a heavy plug that aggressively put an unnatural stop on a natural flee flow. So tampons are different after all - Tampax proved to be even better. I give big "kudos" to the applicator -> how hygienic does that get (incase I jump started the process and my hands are not thoroughly clean). Amazingly these applicators have been given a twist to be shorter thus making it extra easier to insert the tampons without struggling to separate it from its past warm home.
Behold walking feels natural and I have not given up any favorite clothing for the dark fun-strangling garments in attempts to HIDE any possible leaks. My self confidence came together after it was shattered by the red family's unannounced visit. Then I conquered with my mighty weapon which has proven its ability to absorbed thoroughly - leaks are also a thing of the past hey :)
Remind yourself that I mentioned that smoothly, the tampons is inserted allowing discreet carrying - yep you forget it is there as you go free doing you...yet the moment its gets cozy and full, it makes its present know to give you a chance to allow it to be changed. Oh did I mention that these tampons mold themselves as to your shape? Now I have mentioned it :)
Oh my oh my and to dispose of it is a dream come true - then nobody has to know what I have been up to with their reseal-able wrappers. Gone are those days where I have to stumble around with larger amounts of tissue paper wrapping my secret.
For so much peace - I surely have not paid much at a reasonable R35 > yes to that!

I started using tampons in standard 6, when Aunt Suze came to visit in her red Ferrari during a swim meet at school, in which I was participant.
My PE teacher introduced me to Tampax Tampons, with applicator and guided me on how to use it,
To be honest, that first day I think I finished her box as I felt that that tiny tampon would not manage to absorb much, and I changed it every 20 min
I quickly learned how wrong I was, and that these little miracles worked 1000 times better than pads, which were in those days horrible and thick and became smelly if you didn't change them every three hours or so,
I was scared at first, that it would get stuck, that I wasn't putting it in correctly and so many other insecurities, but thanks to my patient teacher all these fears were layed to rest, she explained it's impossible to insert a Tampax Tampon incorrectly due to the applicator, and that you only need to change your tampon when you start to feel it, or every 6 hours which ever comes first,
This was my lifesaver, no more did I have to rush to the loo between periods because of my heavy periods (I had to change pads every 90min) I could just change my tampon once during the school day,
Now I don't even bother buying pads, but I am never without my Tampax Tampons.
And one day when my girl's turns come, I will guide them as I was guided, so they don't have to suffer through embarrassing spills on their skirts (or as happened to me on a night out at age 13, a huge red blotch on a white jeans) and all the physiological damage that goes with aunt Suze red Ferrari making itself known to all and sundry.
After about a year using Tampons, Tampax gave me the courage to wear my white jeans again even when I was on my period and in all these years, not one spill.

Tampax Compak is the latest product from the Tampax stable and it is spot on as far as tampons go. The pack is really colourful and cool and the packaging of each tampon is sweet. It is also convenient in that is available as a multipack. This means that in one pack you get tampons for heavy flow as well as those for medium flow days. No having to waste money buying two packs anymore or using the wrong type for that time of the month. The greatest feature of this tampon is the new silky smooth plastic applicator which makes inserting it fuss free and easy compared to the usual cardboard applicators. The tampon itself is really comfortable and super absorbent so you do not have to worry about leakages and above all it is really cost effective. You hardly feel like it is there so you can be confident that your secret is safe and does not have to be let out!

But when i decided i have to review them and i actually used them i was utterly shocked! I had no discomfort at all inserting the applicator like i usually do. It was amazing. I opened a new one just to feel and see what the applicator was made of. Its like this flimsy little plastic that couldnt hurt u if u tried :D soooo amazed! Where i use 5 Lilets in 1 day i only need 3 of these Tampax because the new design keeps liquids inside the tampon longer. So when I received this in the post, I had to wait a month before I could try it... because you know, timing is everything ;) I then got married and went on Honeymoon - so I could only post about it now... but rather late than never, right?
So my first thoughts... an applicator? I was scared to try it out as this was definitely NEW to me. When I did, I was surprised at how easy it was to use, and it made for a better experience. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all! I think every girl needs to have these as apposed to the normal tampons. It just makes for a better experience, especially for those who are new to their mentrual cycles.

This is really a great product! After receiving my package in the post I had to wait a couple of weeks before I could use it. This was the first time I've used Tampax and an applicator tampon so I was treading in unknown territory. To my surprise the product was so easy to use and super absorbent. I was really impressed and definitely buy this product!

I lived overseas for a year after I'd finished school and used to use the Tampax Compak's then. I missed them so much when I came back to SA as I'd aways found them to be super convenient and very discreet. So when my tester box arrived I was thrilled! And just in time for the busy festive season.
Tampax Compak's are super discreet and can be slipped conveniently into any bag, even when on a night out! This was super useful as we all know the fun, long days and nights that Summer brings. The plastic applicator is incredibly easy to use and is very comfortable to insert. It also makes me feel a little more hygienic as the cardboard ones are not the most ideal in my opinion. No discomfort at all!
Sneaky hiding places while at the beach and on the go this Summer include: snuck into a pack of tissues already in my bag; slipped into my make up bag or the inside of a clutch while on a night out.
Overall, a definate stable monthly purchase now these babies have hit our shores!

I was pleasantly surprised when I received these perfectly in time for me to try them - I'm not really a fan of applicators in general as I had tried the Tampax tampons with the cardboard applicator and I really didn't like it, so I never repurchased it BUT these I love! The plastic applicator is a dream to use - its just really comfortable, the plastic is high quality so it doesn't feel flimsy and cheap and I'm a fan of the fun colours which distinguish the two different flows.
Overall I will definitely repurchase these game changing tampons ?

When I got home, opened the package and saw it was Tampax, I was a little skeptical. I have always been an in-between Lillets and Tampax user, but when I used my first one I was really amazed. They also came at just the right time as I just started that time on that day....
When I opened it up and saw how small and compact the applicator was I was actually quite amazed as now I don't have to worry about them being found in my make-up bag or drawer in my room, especially with the awesome wrapper it is in.
With me having two small girls, ages 4 and 6, trying to hide these little "thingies" (as my youngest calls them) is not easy, but with them being in the wrapper I just tell them it's special sweeties for mommy and they leave me be.
I stopped using the applicator tampons as it started getting a bit uncomfortable, but after my second application with the Tampax Compak I must say I am back on the applicator tampons. They don't just go in easy and without discomfort, the tampon itself is so absorbent and it makes me feel more comfortable too.
I do not have to worry that I might be "leaking" as they say and it keeps everything in until I need to change. It also doesn't cause discomfort at the end when there is not that much happening....

I just received my Tampax Compak Multi pack from the beauty bulletin club to review....
When I opened the packaging I was delighted at the beautiful packaging, its hip ad funky. I usually look for the trendy packaging when shopping for anything and this will definitely catch my eye if I am doing my shopping.
I have to admit, I have never used an applicator before, and I was rather apprehensive. What I had seen before from other brands was huge contraptions, which looked like a prop used in a Fifty shades of Grey novel and it terrified me and put me off.
However when I used this, it was so easy to insert, no big drama, and it didn't hurt at all, as that is one of my biggest fears when it comes to using applicators.Also when removing, it was easy to, no mess, no fuss.
For first time users like myself, it has a wonderful packet insert that provides all the info on how to use the product.
I also found that when using tampons, i always have this fear that I cannot be as active as I want to be. I am a mum of two, and always running around and cleaning, and this was a delight to use, I felt confident and fresh.No pulling and tugging and checking my clothes, to check whether everything was still in place.
Not only is it easy to use, but also easy to store and carry around. Its so tiny, I can carry it in my handbag. I adore the packaging!
It also super affordable, ranging from R35,00 to R39,00 depending on where you shop.
Absolutely Love this product, I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I received this product to test, I was supposed to do a video review and then realized my camera dissapeared! Shock shock horror.
We all hate that time of the month, but I have to say with Tampax it was a breeze. I could walk to the bathroom at work And no one even knew what I had in my hand as it so perfectly covered.
I have never before used an applicator tampon, but found this so easy to use. It goes in perfectly without the mess and the having to move it around so it doesn’t bother you. it was just put in, push the applicator, pull out and all done.
I do not use regular tampons as i always have a heavy flow from start to finish, so I would love it if I could buy Heavy only. My sister on the other hand loves getting the goodies i can’t use.
I have found a new favourite and I will stick to this always! Thanks for giving me a chance to test this.

With the new TAMPAX compak i feel like a superwoman i am able to go about my daIly job as i am always running up and down the stairs, with the TAMPAX Compak i don't have to worry about leaks or marks, i really love them they are so comfy aswell..i am able to do my exercises without running to the toilet to see if i have a leak , it is long lasting and i can just pop them straight into my bag :) love the oh so cool wrapping i am definitely changing my brand :) :)

The first time I've tried tampons was 8 years ago, and since then I've never went back to using pads, and I've been using tampax regular since then.. The applicator makes it so easy and hygienic and use.. What I love about Tampax tampons, you free dry and comfortable all day, of course you need to change the tampon every 4-5 hours.. Tampons really changed the period game for me, and every female dreads that time of the month, tampax makes it a whole lot easier for you, there's no fear of leaking or any myths that it hurts.. Thank you tampax for making me comfortable during times of discomfort :)

The packaging is so bright you'd mistaken it for something sweet if you did know about it, eye catching and portable too that was my 1st impression.
I opened the box so eager to see this new plastic applicator. Wow, this is too great, it is so small it can fit anywhere you could ever imagine be it a bag, pencil case or even new sanitary pads cases. it fits in the palm of my hand as well. still wrapped in a nice colour wrap as if it were candy.
open the wrap there it was the plastic applicator! took 1 tampon out from the wrap, figured out how to actually use it without even reading the leaflet oh great no more pushing with a finger hahahaha who ever inverted it i'm quite sure SHE had had enough of it.
Easy to use, easy to insert and taking out too when it's time to take it out without even scratching yourself or feeling it for that matter.
With tampons you are at ease, you do not have to worry about having a blot in your clothes or being uncomfortable when it's that time of the month like sanitary pads. i can go anywhere be it a party, work, dinner or meeting knowing Tampax Compak is in control.

So we are all stuck with one thing that make us all wish we were men instead... hahaha. I hate that time of the month as I am always uncomfortable and always worry about 'leakage'.
So I tried the awesome sample that was sent to me (Thank you for that) and must say that I am very impressed. I did not feel uncomfortable or insecure once using Tampax. They are easy to insert and didn't even feel like I was wearing anything :)

Tampak Compak is a fabulous new product! I never liked using applicator tampons before because it was to big to carry around in your hand at the office, and I didn't like the cardboard applicator to much.

I have always dreaded that time of the month and yes ladies by that time of the month I do mean my period .. Hormone's are crazy , I go on a feeding frenzy and not to mention numbness and odour.
I was on the pad of so many years but couldn't handle the grossness of it and discomfort of it.
I few years ago I ditched the unsexy pad and went onto tampons , being a first timer to tampons I honestly had no clue on what to get ! Regular ? Super? I had no idea what these words meant and what is best suited for me, my brains couldn't cope with these thoughts . I also tried so many brands and found that a lot of these brands didn't work for me , some were poor quality and didn't have an applicator which made inserting a bit of a problem and a messy situation.
I came across Tampax , I won't lie the applicator intrigued me and I wanted to try it out! What's what more brand of tampons to try out I thought hehe .

Thank you Beauty Bulletin for my first experience of applicator tampon . I have got to say that it was pretty easy task ,even though I was a bit nervous . The plastic covering of the applicator was so soft that it made insertion so natural that I did not even know or feel the applicator in me until I looked ;-) Thank you Tampax for making my first experience of an applicator is great and enjoyable one . I love the length of the tampon string since it was short , there was no string being exposed when I wore a bikinis during the Valentine’s weekend nor did I need to trim the string to hide it when wearing a bikinis . I was really comfortable of the snug fit that I was no longer was paranoid looking behind me every second . Tampax is now the new God sent solution to our excitement and enjoyment during our that time of the month .That is indeed how I felt and was kind of sad when my period ended for the month . But then I ecstatic about next month .

I have previously used Tampax and was'nt that impressed, so when I received the multipack to test I decided to give Tampax another try.
Oh my word, I am definitely converted! The applicators are soooo easy to use and so smooth! You can literally insert it with one hand tied behind your back, which was not the case with my other brand of applicator tampons. Oh my word, I am definitely converted! The applicators are soooo easy to use and so smooth! You can literally insert it with one hand tied behind your back, which was not the case with my other brand of applicator tampons. I have used many tampons in the past and never really found one that i was comfortable with, i always felt it no matter how i inserted it, but finally i have found a brand that fits nicely and i don't even know is there. I would recommend this to all my friends and family and anyone out there looking to find a product that is comfortable.

I received the multipack which consists of a pack of 8 super and 8 regular tampons to meet my needs. It definitely beats buying different sizes for different flows. I would recommend this to all my friends and family and anyone out there looking to find a product that is comfortable, easy to use and ever so discreet. Tampax Compak definitely takes the stress out of that time of the month for me!I don't have to worry about doing and going to the places I love to go,because it honestly gives great long lasting protection and comfort!

I recieved my pack a week before i was to have my periods. Yesterday as i went in for an operation i had no reason to panick for i knew my compact will be there. No mess no fuss. Easy to use and easy to carry anytime, anywhere. I love the short applicator which is smooth for insertion and no mess like using a tampon without an applicator. The pricing is also good. Ladies who didnt get the opportunity to get a free pack, run to your neares store to get them i highly recommend this brand

Being a new tampon user, my first time was a bit scary. Though I struggled opening the package covering the tampon, the packaging was very vibrant & summer(y). Insertion was made easier by the soft plastic cover of the applicator. The tampon itself was rather comfortable to use & I loved the fact that it has such a short string. I also love that it comes in a variety for light to strong flow. I will definitely recommend it to my girlfriends. Thank you BB & Tampax Compak.

I've actually never tried applicators before and have always been sceptical of it. Not anymore though! The Tampax Compak is just so easy to use! I received a multipack from Beauty Bulletin and I simply love this idea as well because I've always had to buy 2 boxes for different flows before but not anymore!

The plastic applicator is so soft, i did not feel a thing , easy to insert and to withdraw and discard. Life is just made easy for women at large, come to think of it .
I received a box at 1st to review of which i did thereafter i entered a competition & i won a years' supply. I must say that i am covered & protected for months!
