Here a primer or applying moisturiser or Bio-Oil half an hour in advance, do work. I can recommend this to anyone, especially someone that needs proper coverage and not just a light foundation. I love, I love this foundation. Yes you heard me right and I'll say it again, I L.O.V.E the Yardley Stayfast foundation. It lasts me the whole day and even the next during my girls night out. Nope it doesn't smudge it gives me that perfect look. It seems to be also good for my skin where it covers all my blemishes . I sometimes forget that I have blemishes and dark spots. It's an easy to apply foundation and is packed just right. In just a squeeze or two I'm ready to face on the world. Works best with the Yardley Stayfast Pressed Powder which with no doubt gives me that Sheer Matte Finish. I use the Caramel shade of the foundation which is a tone lighter then my skin colour and then the Mahogany shade of the powder which is a tone darker than my skin tone and that just balances things out which gives me a natural and beautiful look.
