Because the texture is waxy it's hard to apply to my kids, and when I do manage to do that it creases terribly. Essence went horribly wrong with this one. Well Essence has recreated the concept and created a more affordable version of cream eye shadow which retails for R40 where the Maybelline one retails for R99. I was actually quite disappointed in this product because I expected it to be more user friendly. Firstly the cream is meant to be applied to eyelids using an eyeshadow brush but this eyeshadow cream messed up my eyeshadow brush so badly I ended up using my fingers to apply it. The second problem was that this was long lasting eyeshadow but it looked really horrible and waxy on my eyelids. It also felt really heavy and I thought all my money would go to waste, so I used the product as a silver eye liner.
