It is super moisturising and smells amazing and looks even better, my lips felt softer and smoother from the first application and the gloss colours are subtle with high shine. I love the smell of the pearl pink, it smells like watermelon, good enough to eat, and it gives an amazing pearly shine! The cherry red smells okay, but looks amazing, the red isn’t too red. I would definitely recommend this product, especially for those who want a sexy pout. It’s also a perfect size to fit into tiny bags or tiny pockets. I love a pop of color on my lips (I prefer lip gloss over lipstick) as I tend to turn pale during the winter months and do not wear foundations or blush to work, so its all natural during the week which make me look a bit washed out, so this little beauty is a real pick me up! Its the perfect sheer gloss version of red lipstick as it is highly pigmented and turns lips red, not overly red, but just perfect! its slightly thickish in consistency, but fairly comfortable to wear. It has an average staying power of about 1-2hours before needing to re-apply? As is the softlips brand, it will nourish, moisturize and protect your lips as well as making them look gorgeous. Its just really tiny though, so I do think its a bit pricey (R30) for the mount your getting (Apologies, I am not trying to be cheap, I'm just thinking in comparison to other brands in terms of Amount of product given to price paid ratio. I really love the subtle glossy finish that you can pull off on its own or over a lipstick for extra UMPH! It has tiny little shimmers in it to give your lips a kissable sparkle. It has more of a 'thick oil' texture rather than 'your grandfathers wood glue' texture which is definitively something I am a fan of. I also found the dainty 7g tube quite cute. It is perfect for fancy clutch purses or for inside the zipper of your hand bag.
