Smudge eyeliner

I wanted to get a couple of eyeliners without breaking my budget and I saw that Clicks was having a 3 for 2 sale on Smudge products. I have previously never used Smudge products before and I've never really heard anyone talk or rave about it like with most other make up brands.

I got two eyeliners - one is a rich purple colour and the other one is a shimmery bronze colour. Its the perfect combination as the purple one is quite bright an noticeable (for bolder looks) and the bronze one is more subtle (also because it's quite close to my skin colour).

It applies smoothly and blends really well - it can even be used in place of eyeshadow to create a smokey eye look. It's not too thick yet it is highly pigmented and one coat is all you really need.

It also lasts really long - the whole day in fact. i would definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget.

I find this is probably one of the best kohl eyeliners I have used, I tend to buy about 3 every time I run out as I feel it works wonders. I put quite a thick line on my inner lids as I have been for about 6 years now. I have tried Revlon, Maybelline, M.A.C..seriously all different brands. But Smudge's kohl eyeliner is definitely my favourite. I do recommend it as it lasts long and creates the perfect smudged look. :)

These eyeliners for R40 each and I will easily say that they are my favourite cheap eyeliner of all. They dont smudge unless you are purposely going for that look - in which case the one end of the Smudge stick has a smudger which is perfect for a smokey eye. It works amazingly and glides on smoothly. I will be repurchasing this as soon as I need a new eyeliner.

I recieved this a while ago, not sure if it was in a Rubybox or Glambox, but I got it.
The liner is an easy to pencil. It is perfect to use to create a smokey eye to make heads turn. In fact, it has been the best liner I have used to create the smokey effect. It glides on and lasts the entire day. I even use it as a bottom lid liner for everyday use. But I do tend to use a little bit as it is meant for smudging, it does create a bit of residue underneath the eyelash line.

It is meant to create a smokey eye. The eyeliner is really soft and slides on easily. It is so soft and smooth and easy to blend. I could easily only wear this eye liner blended well. I have never used an eyeliner that blended this easily.
There is one downside. The first time I wore it I noticed large raccoon lines under my eyes after about two hours. I guess something that goes on this easily also smudges easily below the eye. Maybe this should only be worn on the top eye lid.
