It was a lengthy and difficult process. I have rather thick, frizzy curly hair (that i will never leave unstraightened, because it just is that bad). For R170 it was definitely worth a try. 5hours later, and not having to wash it for 3days all I had to do was wait. The results were not bad, but nothing to scream about. It did make my hair less frizzy and less curly. It also reduced my drying time, however it did not make it straight or dry straight. I did the 4 step process which included the Japenese straightening (whatever that is) where you must use a good quality straightening iron to strighten hair before applying part C the fixative.
